I feel the same exact way, but there's a balancing act. I wanted to start a hack years ago, but it's daunting when you don't have experience with much to do it on your own. 2 or 3 people can probably work, but any more than that and things never get done and people want to do things differently...

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a good event idea, but given how popular ROM hacks are here, what about something for ROM hacking discussion/teambuilding?

Agreed. The ball is starting to roll, but we're still missing some key roles to get the party started.

Accepted, but some work would be nice, you can work on some ideas once the Pokedex is posted soon as well. And yes, we're still recruiting new members, especially in need of a tile designer/creator at the moment. If you're interested, you're very welcome to help!

If I may suggest it, why not go ahead and play through it now? Solid? The game is already awesome and takes a decent chunk of time to finish, despite there only being 4 gyms. The Fakemon are beautifully designed overall and, equally as important, balanced (maybe even a little too balanced :P)...

That's what I assumed, but just making sure. This is really convenient, considering only FireRed had a decap ROM base before. Granted, it also has new attacks and the Fairy-type, but that doesn't make this patch any less useful. Cool, thanks!

Accepted to help with obtaining resources and generating concepts and making decisions that heyo and I can not decide on. Waiting for work, likely to be accepted. Still looking for more members, because we could still use plenty more help!
