I would like to see that "4 original sprites" rule taken out, I mean what if I didn't want to make 4 more sprites than I wanted to make AND go through taking the time to upload each sprite.

Stop complaining about it. It's never going to happen. They're not going to put Pokemon on PS3 and Xbox. I mean Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft do not even like each other... Plus, gameplay is better than graphics.
