I think Ash is using an AR to keep Pikachu's stats low and that it's level 100 since Pikachu was level 81 in Johto like the above post has said.

How will they be able to follow you while Surfing? Sit on your head? Also what if the Pokemon following you is the Pokemon your surfing on, that would be kind of strange.

If GF is going to make another remake I'd say do R/S and be done with the remakes, as it will just be a giant circle then. On topic: I don't think they'd make a Spirit Crystal(Although I like the name) because FR/LG didn't get a yellow remake but that has probably been said already.

I disagree with the Lapras pre-ev but the rest are OK, I'd also want to see a miltank evolution or pre-ev.

Well I do not want to have to deal with those whirlpools, I hated having them in there, I was glad when they removed them for the 3rd generation, I just hope they don't bring them back.
