I was expecting this to be the best in the series, but it might be the worst, IMO. Still a good game, but what's really bugging me is how they're dragging out the playtime with reduculously long, dull and redundant dialogue (without a reasonable text speed) really makes this feel boring. I just...
What Pokemon game would be complete without at least 1 daycare?
Haha yeah that would be cool. What I want even more (really, really badly!) is Follow Me back. :(
If there is player customization, I could see things like purchasing items for 1/2 accessory slots that could affect encounters. For example, equipping an Amulet Coin or Spell Tag to your character, rather than your primary Pokemon.
Like turning the screen 40 degrees so you can only move diagonally :p I hate games that do that! But with them always including mini games, it could be interesting.
There are plenty of "genderless" animals out there, so I don't really think it's necessary. I think it would bring out confusion for stuff like breeding, too. And I prefer the idea that the names are based more on the 3D plane, than genders. It just seems more relevant to me.
Edit: Also...
Unless a Pokemon can specifically dislike a trainer, I'd assume it would be the "normal" amount of EXP. That way you don't have an overly difficult time training new ones. Then, I'd have to wonder how it would affect the EXP Share.
I always prefer the Japanese logos. On just about any game, they look better. Especially on Pokemon, they look crisper, the color fits the actual logo of the game and the font looks cooler.
I didn't like the journal at first. Every time I started the game, I had to wait a bit longer to play. However, it did prove useful for me because I have some memory problems and appreciated that the game reminded me what I was doing. I think if it can be an option, it would be very nice to have...
I like the current EXP system, but I'd like a better way to grind, even if it's just as simple as being able to find higher-level wild Pokemon. Although all I really want is a way to rebate trainers.
Haha that reminds me of those old barcode scanner games :p You scan the codes to get certain monsters. I had one when I was little.
Edit: The eCard Reader was a little like that, so I guess it might not be too Farfetch'd.
No. I want something different. Like an AR World. A standalone app for the 3Ds (or smartphones and tablets) to let you find items and Pokemon in the REAL world. Like the Geomon iOS app. I don't want to be stuck on the computer doing it.
Well they definitely won't have the Game Corner anymore. Thanks, ESRB. I actually wish they'd ditch the need to remain an "E" game. They could do so much if they at least let the dialogue mature a bit.
I want the 3 save files that most Nintendo games offer, but I doubt that would happen. Of course there would be no option to copy save files, but it would still be nice. That's the reason I always backed up my Pokemon games to a flashcard when I beat them. I wanted more save options.
