I don't care what the region is based off of. I care about the story, the ability to fight tougher trainers in-game, and the Pokemon. Route 1 is a nice fresh start. I don't think anyone will really get confused.

Actually, while the USN is a storied branch that has won many overwhelming victories, it has been defeated on a number of occasions in battle. Doesn't take away from the fact that few navies have achieved what the United States Navy has(especially in the Second World War).

R/S/E Remake would be nice. I enjoyed the games- tied with Diamond/Pearl/Platinum as my 'least' favorite of the series, but still very good.

Stantler would be awesome if it had an evolution. I have tons of respect for Stantler after my last play through.

I was looking forward to that rumored Tauros evolution, but I guess it is not to be. Sad, considering having an evolution would have turned a solid, awesome looking, mid-game usefulness Pokemon into a fantastic, awesome looking, legitimate team member in the end game Pokemon.
