It's been pretty good so far, but I'd recommend adding back in Pokemon removed from RS. For example, Mawile, which was available in Ruby in Granite Cave, is not in Granite Cave in Emerald. Held items are broken and having a full party of 6 breaks the dynamic leveling - it turns all enemies to level 98.

Are gift pokemon like the Game Corner affected by the shiny charm? And are there any ways to boost the odds further (i.e. chaining or masuda method)? Trying to add a Bananza to my team, and haven't run to a shiny one from the GC after 30 minutes of resets. My luck may just suck LOL.
