It's been pretty good so far, but I'd recommend adding back in Pokemon removed from RS. For example, Mawile, which was available in Ruby in Granite Cave, is not in Granite Cave in Emerald. Also, Masquerain lacks Bug stab until level 40+ - may want to revisit Gen 9 learnsets and how they stack up...
Chikorita really held it's weight! Nature Power is actually pretty good coverage (albeit situational) and Body Slam works well too. Giga Drain was a solid end-move (Energy Ball could also have been useful, or Seed Bomb for a Physical set with Swords Dance) and Growth/Leech Seed provided nice...
Amazing rom hack - keep up the great work! Was a bit under-leveled at the end, maybe wild Chansey in Ever Grande or Victory Road could be helpful to grind.
Would love a debug manu option to allow players access to evolution iterms and regional formes from the late/post game, or maybe a special...
On the note of Meltan, it is apart of the LGPE Kanto Dex, so technically it is a Kanto mon - I think as Steven's gift works perfectly as it fits thematically, and post-game is a good place for an addition like Meltan.
Some more test run notes
- Pokemon that felt good to use: Hitmonchan (a grind...
enjoying this game so far!! just some notes that came to mind
- on the water route right to Dewford, there are a few trainers with Missingno's as Pokemon.
- Houndoom doesn't learn any special Dark stab, and Feraligatr line does not get physical water stab until after Tate & Liza - may want to...
This hack is perfect!! I am loving my playthroughs through it, and hope to make a hack with it as the base soon. For some suggestions of other things that could make it even better
- Adding an Egg Move tutor and/or allowing for breeding in the Kanto Daycare
- Easier DexNav for cave/water...
Are gift pokemon like the Game Corner affected by the shiny charm? And are there any ways to boost the odds further (i.e. chaining or masuda method)?
Trying to add a Bananza to my team, and haven't run to a shiny one from the GC after 30 minutes of resets. My luck may just suck LOL.
