I would like to make a tutorial but to make a NDS titlescreen you must know how to edit maps in NDS.
And only 3 users know how to do it.
If people uses more NDS i will upload a tutorial. ;)
First of all, GOOD titlescreen! ;)
To solve this problem you can enable vertex colors. With vertex colors your 3D model will be smooth.
You can watch this tutorial to learn how to enable vertex colors. The tutorial is spanish but I think it´s easy to understand. :D

You must edit the offset of the texture coordinates and insert a keyframe (frame 0), then you go to the frame 30 (in the timeline) and you change the texture coordinates with a different number and insert a keyframe (fame 30).

To add animations you must make them in 3ds max and export the .imd file with a .ita file. (This is my first clue)
