I alpha and beta tested this game, and played(and still do play) FFXI, and in my personal opinion, it is inferior to FFXI in terms of gameplay and mechanics. I'll be passing on the official release, but it was sure fun to play in Beta. I recommend it to new players.

I don't really like the idea of the mega evolutions as a whole. Mainly that they are only during battle, and how lame the items are named. After the pokemon it evolves.

I strongly believe that there are no bad words. Only bad people that use them in bad and hateful ways. I think our society is in such a state by the overflow of censorship. (among adults, I mean.) The limits we place on ourselves weigh us down far too much. That's my view, anyways.

I think the acquisition of moves in this sense is more meta than canon. Meaning, the normal types can get a wide range of moves in their arsenal, without getting the STAB that the poison or electric type would get respectively. It's a play on the neutral side, jack of all trades, master of none...
