I haven't gotten much music this year, but the album that sticks out the most to me is "Act III: Life and Death", by The Dear Hunter. Wonderful addition to the story they've told through their music.

The game OST's have just gotten better and better with time, but these tunes are a lot better than the ones we got in the fourth gen. I'd have to say the Kanto Wild Battle is by far my favorite.
