The only way they will ever beat those Gen 1 sales is if they make every single pokemon and evolution available without trading or hacking in a single game. I really hope X and Y will have this so we don't have to wait another year or two for an ultimate remake
Sweep the Elite Four and then put them in the PC for the Battle Frontier. I don't do much competitive gameplay with my actual teams so I don't ever train my legendaries
Stealth Rock is the best because it renders all focus sashes useless. Spikes can't hit everyone and take longer to set up. Poison spikes take two turns to set up fully and can be taken away by any poison pokemon without an air balloon. So overall I just stealth rock
Another thought for a rain team is a swift swimmer instead of Gengar, although he is pretty fast you will always attack first with swift swim unless the opponent has stat boosts
People who think that weather conditions don't matter have clearly never seen a Politoad lead raindance team. It's amazing what you can do with the power of a little rain. In the games I even change the pokemon that I take out with me based of weather conditions, especially sandstorms
When on a battle simulator I use Ninjask as often as I can. In the games though I always end up training my starter to be the pokemon I rely on. Other than that I catch an early flying type (Pidgey, Swellow ect)
Randombattles are awesome but I love the rock-paper-sissor ness to CC 1 v 1. Theres that moment when you see what the opponent picked and you either know you're gonna win or lose
I dont play over wi-fi, but instead use a battlesimulator. I win about 3 for every one that I lose but that is including ragequits which happen quite often if I get set up.
