Nintendo already confirmed Sun and Moon will support Pokémon Bank, when they said you can use it to transfer Pokémon from the eShop RBY games to the new games. So it seems pretty likely other Pokémon can be transferred as well. Here's the link to that confirmation...

Yeah... Have to say I've started breeding by now (it's a lot less hardcore than I feared!) but I'm not sure what will survive into the next generation. Then again: having some perfect IV/EV-trained Pokémon in storage is probably going to be helpful at times.

Just an inch below Venusaur, Mega Slowbro, Mewtwo and Exeggutor. Though I doubt I can compete with the Alolan form of that last one.

I'm kind of curious: of all the people not liking the idea of Kanto making a return, what generation did you start on? Does Kanto make you feel nostalgic, or did you visit the first games much later? I started on Blue myself, and I feel like my sentiment makes it way too hard to be critical...
