    You're right, the routine applier does create the new OW table, I just have to find it.

    I don't think the applier has an option that creates the new OW table because it never prompts you for an offset, and I tried everything in that tool. That's why I need the hacked engine to work. Also, I don't think it creates the new palette table either.

    Do you mean the hacked routine applier? It doesn't create the table at 0x1A2000 that allows us to create our own OW tables. Also, I do have backups but they're either: From before I applied the hacked engine - These backups work but many scripts that uses the hacked engine weren't implemented...

    The hacked engine will let me switch the overworld sprite and many of its other features will let me create actual puzzles as opposed to mazes that I've only done so far. Also, the ability to add near-infinite amounts of overworld palettes and sprites is a nice thing to have.

    Personally, I feel the player character should talk if the character has a significant amount of backstory or if the game/hack is very story-driven. For the regular Pokemon games, they aren't very story driven and the main character isn't some hero sent from the heavens with a mysterious past...

    The most important tileset change that I want to make is the sewers. But in addition to that I have a prairie environment so I need buildings that are more...umm...natural? Well, I'm planning on having something like the buildings in Fortree and Pacifidlog but on mountain and desert environments.

    I think you can cross the bridge by going the other way around through the refugee area. I know its troublesome so I'll be sure to change the respawn point next release.
