Thanks VERGUNDAI for the confirmation.
BXisAWOL, You can use either No$GBA or DeSmuME with a patched Soul Silver.
You should be able to find the patch through Google.
It's not bugged. It's full of pirate checks which causes the game to crash due to being emulated. The patch simply freezes these pirate checks so that it doesn't cause any crashes.
As far as I know, you have to use No$GBA for the patch to work.
If it works for DeSmuME, Can someone confirm this...
Lunar IPS is the commonly used one.
Yes, You download the version the game was created on (Which is Ruby), Load Lunar IPS, Select the IPS file, then the ROM, then you patch =]
We are not allowed to post links to ROM's (Forum rules).
Google is your friend.
A lot of people wish this was possible but unfortunately, there is no such thing as a release Pokemon script.
It's all done by ASM.
There is a work around for it though.
You can use the Daycare script to take the Pokemon away and not place a Daycare centre in your game. But you will also need...
I am a little confused about your question.
There is no need to make a tutorial on making your own tools because there are already loads of really good ones on this site.
But to make them, it requires a lot of coding (way beyond my knowledge).
My Boy is written in a different language to NO$GBA, they both handle data differently.
My Boy also makes 3 different files (instead of 1) when running a GBA game. The main save file (.SAV), another save file and then an image.
I'm not sure what the other 2 files are for but they seem to be...
It is either corrupt ROM's or you need to edit your video settings on the emulator.
My guess would be corrupt ROM's seeing as you said that it doesn't do this on Ruby but does on Emerald and other hacks.
If the Pokemon selection doesn't have an animation, then it is very much possible.
All you do is add 2 more pokeballs onto the map, then you just place the give pokemon script into those balls and there you go. You would obviously need to tell the player what Pokemon they make their choice on...
I tried looking for the answer to this issue but I couldn't find it. I had been looking around the forums for 2 days..
But thanks a million. This worked wonders. =]
Hey guys.
I'm having an issue with XSE version 1.11.
Every time I try and open it, I get "Runtime Error 9 - Subscript out of range."
I have tried replacing it with another copy several times but the same message keeps appearing.
Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
If I can't get this...
I say it depends on how many scripts you have in each town + on each route.
If you are using a lot of scripts in each town and each route, then put up the first beta when you have got to the second town and update it from there.
If you don't use a lot of scripts, then stick a beta up when you've...
