I agree with all of these, especially the first and third points. For me, Black/White is the last game I really found myself totally immersed into what I was playing, and the pacing of the journey was perfect. Every game after that, there's always been something missing for me. Part of it may be...
Ramos is probably the best imo, because his Gogoat is always a challenge to take down for me. Gogoat's one of favorite grass-types as well. The other grass leaders I can usually one shot pretty easily, although Roserade has a knack for getting some offense in.
Disappointing to me means trying to add a Pokemon to my team and it not bring able to pull its weight as much as I expect. So, Pawniard and Golurk hit those points for me with Black/White. Tried using both and ended up having to drop both.
It doesn't bother me because I personally didn't care about the Delta Episode to begin with. Way too much story and exposition at once for a Pokemon game.
Ran out of stuff to do, so nope. It's a shame that we couldn't have had Emerald's Battle Frontier.
Now, I just plan on using Alpha Sapphire to trade/keep all my strongest Pokemon from all my games on.
I have a bad habit of playing Pokemon only to a certain point (usually like the last gym leader), but I did finish Alpha Sapphire. Delta Episode and everything.
They missed the mark with the fairies a bit in my opinion. From my understanding, the Fairy-type should included Pokemon that have some basis on fae or similar mythology. So stuff like Clefairy and even Snubbull makes sense to me. Jigglypuff is pushing it, but I still accept it being a Fairy...
Don't understand why people are thinking FRLG are the worst/their least favorites. They may lack most of the features newer games provide...but that's because they came before them, so it's understandable. Imo they're the oldest games still worth going back to for gameplay reasons rather than...
I try to avoid it, or at least the obnoxiously overpowered ones. I feel it cheapens a game that's already easy enough as is. I did decide to use the free Latias Alpha Sapphire threw at me, because it came at a convenient time (needed to replace a useless 6th member of my team+wanted a psychic...
In the Sinnoh vs. Kanto debate, I'm for Kanto being remade first all the way. Diamond & Pearl are awful, awful games, among the worst in the series, but they already have an excellent remake in Platinum that still holds up to this day. Meanwhile, while FRLG are great games in their own right...
