I'm pretty stoked because I just found a shiny geodude completely randomly while leveling my pokémon on route 207. I was so shocked because I thought at first it was a glitch on my computer screen, but also it's kinda hilarious because I've been trying to get a shiny by using the Masuda Method...

I almost always keep my starter pokémon. Maybe I'm just one of those players that gets sentimentally connected with my pokémon after I've spent a lot of time training them.. But when I played pearl, I didn't really care for any of the starters, and actually traded in one of the original starter...

I'm not too disappointed about the names, but they do sound rather average.. I may be biased though because my brother's name is Nate. :pink_tongue: Rosa to me reminds me a Roserade or a grass pokémon, so maybe she's very earthy?
