In Pokemon Fire Red, I was training my pokemon when I noticed there was a slightly golden colored wild rattata in the game and I caught it. I was wondering if there is anything special about this type of pokemon except for the fact that it's a rare catch or a minor glitch?

I've recieved a lombre card and I noticed that at the bottom there was an E symbol and beside it there was a spotted like barcode. Could someone give me some details for those symbols?
