In short I want to create a multiple choice option when talking to Steven Stone where he offers a Thunderstone, Firestone, or Waterstone.
Example so you know exactly what I mean by multiple choice.
I know how to work with pre-existing multi choice options and to call different labels/functions...
I need to ask because I've gotten a few rules written like this now. When you say "currently on your team" do you mean specifically at the time of receiving the rule (if so I feel it should be placed in the one-off rules section) or just all Water/Dragon/Dark type Pokemon I catch?
Well I only had one Pokemon in my team and it wasn't fire, so that's unfortunate.
Gym 7 Defeated
I can't believe I got away with how underleveled my Pokemon were for this fight. The gym had all lvl 64's. I replayed it a bunch and eventually just built up a decent strategy, but ultimately it...
Gym 6 Defeated
So far in this romhack, general NPCs have been relatively easy, while the Gym Leaders have been a big jump in difficulty.
In a hilarious turn of events, this section was the exact opposite. The lvl limit rule has created a weird middle ground for this section of the game where...
Welp, there goes most of my team leaving gym 3. Fortunately there are a bunch of places immediately north of gym 3 where I can do a team reset.
Gyms 4-5 Defeated
Right away I'll say I'm very glad the rules specify that the 10 level limit only applies to Pokemon caught AFTER gym 4, because my...
I wasn't sure if this was referring to my team at the time of gaining this rule or at the time of trying to catch a Pokemon. I played as though it was the former because the latter has the easy exploit of just placing a Pokemon in my PC to catch a Pokemon of the same type. Overall it stopped me...
Aw man, I was just thinking how nice it was not having to worry about my Pokemon fainting. Now I needed to be careful.
I really needed Vespiqueen for the 2nd gym, so I had to make sure it didn't faint twice or I wouldn't get it, preferably not faint at all.
Gym 2 Defeated
I had a few close...
Gym 1 Defeated
I didn't know what this ROM hack would add to Roxanne's team, so I gave Yawn to my Marshtomp predicting a Lileep (I was right), despite my usual habit of just going ham with offensive moves.
I'll probably be more picky with what Pokemon I catch in the future now that I realise...

🔮 Your favourite horror monster: Bienfu
🔮 Game: Theta Emerald Renev
This seems like a lot of fun, especially the customized rules.
Thank you. I knew about that git repo, but didn't know how it could be used. Side note: Is there a good resource for how it can be used to make a hack?
I'm using Advance Map and XSE to change some of the scripts in Emerald.
After you beat your rival the first time and return to Prof. Birch's lab he lets you nickname your starter and your rival gives you Pokeballs.
I've checked all the script tiles and all the map scripts but none of them seem...
I've been playing around with rom tools since I was a kid, but I didn't realise how deep the community was until I discovered randomiser nuzlockes and similar stuff on YouTube.
Right now I'm taking that big step with GBA hacking and getting into scripting. I'm making this account here to see...
