Your team looks good, though, anything looks good in-game, really. For training, I found that Victory Road was actually pretty tough in the Advance Generations, so I'd try training there. ^_^

I always viewed the 3DS as like a star wars style hologram game system, albeit, not quite so fuzzy and static-y. ;p

Flying types? Linoone? Zigzagoon? Raticate? I'm assuming you mean normal types, and I"m gonna go ahead and answer your question. My favorite is clearly Joey's Ratatta. I mean, it's in the top percentage of Ratattas!

Yet no one questioned a lightning/fire/water/ice/grass/dark/psychic one? Those make just as little sense as flying.
