My name is Alexis, and like everyone else on here, I completely adore pokemon. To answer some common questions: 1. Yes, I do enjoy all the generations, and even most of the side games. Though I do agree that the designs and storylines of later games could do with some more work, I still enjoy the new content. I actually do like a lot of the new designs and like the idea of mega evolution and primal pokemon. I think the primals give the games a more in depth feel. 2. I have played pretty much all the games, though Crystal is still my favorite as it was the first game I ever played; meaning Cyndaquil also has a special spot in my heart as well, since it was the starter I chose in that game. 3. Obviously my favorite type is dragon, with ghost and fire being the close second and third. 4. I do still own my first game and have actually started collecting all the others and getting them back into working condition.
That aside, I also do a lot of artwork. From fakemon, to my realistic interpretations (though many are criticized for being too dark). My argument for the criticism is 1. It's my style 2. There are several dark themes throughout the games; and 3. Do you really think all Pokemon would look cute and cuddly if they were real?
