    My wii is jap and I can't play PAL games (although strangely I can play american games probably because my uncle bought it for me and he probably got it chipped or something). From what I know it's region-locked. I trieed playing an American game on another friends wii. Didn't work

    By the way I want to say the thing about the wii can connect but not the ds and I have the same situation. The technical stuff is that the ds can support non secure routers and routers with a WEP key. A wii can support non secure, WEP, WPA, WPA2 and a whole lot more. I solved this by using a USB...
