Just hit my ninth star, and I haven't even bothered with the main story on the second area of Hisui. Been having more fun doing research than anything.

I've picked Pearl in the past, so there's a mighty good chance I might pick up Shining Pearl. I do have quite an appreciation for the color pink.

Completed the dex for Galar, as well as the dexes for the Expansion Pass DLC. Took my time with the main game before the Expansion Pass hit, then finished the IoA in swift speed, and the same case with CT. Having HOME made it quite easy.

Hopes: Improvements to the Underground, such as online features. Compatibility with extra Pokémon beyond the first 493. Whether they have Pokédex entries concerns me not. Some extra content, post-game. Fears: The remakes end up being so faithful, they don't bother to add anything new at all.

After Sword and Shield, and the Let's Go games before it, I've been on the fence with these remakes. I'd really like to see more information before I even consider getting either one, since even the remakes of Ruby and Sapphire added some new things.

On one hand, it is interesting that Pokémon is getting some DLC for the first time in a gen. On the other hand, I am just on the fence and so far have decided to abstain from pre-ordering so I can wait and see if at least the first part of the DLC will be indeed worth the investment.

I am wondering if the Slowpoke line will even make it into Galar. The same case with the Spehal line, for that matter. I am happy that my other favorites, Abomasnow and Shuckle are in at the very least.
