Does anyone know why FR keeps restarting every time I check player stats? I inserted new sprites but checked the 'abort if too big' option. Any other reason why it may restart?
Also, is it possible to find a script offset from a text pointer? I replaced the wrong script in A-map and saved over...
By 'inserting new sprite' I meant making a new player event. Sorry about the confusion! But I've used UNLZ too and made sure to do that, though this problem existed before I ever found out about that program.

Late question, but:
I can't figure out backsprites. The transparency and overall shape is fine, but the colours are completely messed up. Am I not supposed to use Unlz-gba to do this (for a Fire Red game) or are there some hidden steps to this tutorial?
