I'll participate in the new trainer sprint once X and Y comes out. I believe that a starter is the main pokemon because you gain the first few levels with and you strengthen your bond with it first. I've never abandoned a starter unless it was for competitive battling or a special challenge...

My favourite 5th Gen pokemon is Excadrill because of it`s amazing Attack and HP combined with it`s decent speed and the fact it can learn Swords Dance, which makes it the most fearsome non legendary Pokémon there is. It is also immune to Toxic and Stealth Rock adding a bonus as well.

Choki was actually bred from a dream world female Kabutops I found in a creepy trade shop so it took even longer to get him to level 100. RNGing has been getting easier for me since I've been RNGing so much these days so it didn't take long to do that. As for getting to level 100, my strategy is...

Goal: Training a Kabutops which will be the piratiest (Is that even a word?) Kabutops on the seven seas! Details: It will be a stealthy and jolly pick pocketing Kabutops which will send shivers down your spine!
