    I've taken so many new games in Ruby that I had nothing to transfer across. Most of the stuff from old games that I have in Pearl is either bred in Pearl or traded. It's my first file though I believe so when I trade them forward, it'll be nice having them there, particularly my starter Turtwig...

    I got eight badged, but have yet to do the Elite Four. I just can't bring myself to play it, it felt so bland. I liked the overall world design, but the story was so forced and full of holes.

    For me, it's only minorly what they're based on. It's more that the designs are just bad like a lot of the Gen V ones.

    Not knowing that I could go to Kanto and then going to Kanto. It blew my mind as a kid and set me up for such a huge disappointment when I found out that Ruby only had Hoenn and nothing else.

    I can't see any good reason as to why people would trade fully IV'd Pokémon for even a legendary at the minute. They seem pretty easy to find for a decent deal on the GTS, at least in my experience.

    I wouldn't worry too much about getting even one Master Ball in the game thanks to how easy catching Pokémon seems to be now.

    6th Gen Egg hatching in X & Y. Could it have been made easier?

    The problem that I have with egg hatching in X/Y is that in D/P I used to be able to run up and down the Solaceon route with no trouble. I keep accidentally going into the cave by the daycare in this one so I can't do other things while keeping my hand on the d-pad.
