How do I make trading or link battle work? It gets a communication error whenever I try using multiplayer features. Do I need something like 1st badge/levels? Or is it not supported or still being fixed? I would like to battle and trade with a friend though.

The screen freezes before a link battle can even start and it also gets a link error(ingame) upon using the trade center. The multiplayer compatability was added in an older version when I ckecked the changelog but those things happen when I try doing so, am I missing something(badge, lvls) or...
