Movie 11 Discussion (Japanese spoilers)

OK! So today the 11th movie came out on DVD in Japan. I'm watching through part 1 of Giratina and the Sky Bouquet - Shaymin

I've just got onto the part where the narrator is talking at the start XD

Part 1

- Heh, I'm sure the narrator's saying the same thing as he did at the start of movie 10
- Like the colours used for showing random Pokemon
- Like the Sunkern transition XD
- OMG Lucus VS Brendan!
- Heh heh sunrise for Satoshi! Hmm he looks weird though
- Random Dialga XD Drinking water XD
- Giratina moves it's hook thing to open it's mouth hmm#
- OMG Route 1 Theme!? Why was this not released on the CD!? Unelss they've just stoeln it from the TV theme
- Ash's hands blah XD

This movie still has not hit the US yet...it is very upsetting!

So..? Out in Japan first then takes time to get translated to English so yes it will take time.

Yeah. It will probably make a CN appearance first though.

Yes but they usually never took this long to bring out the newest movie to the US...plus Japan is already getting a new movie next year during the summer or so...

Hey, it's a discussion for people who have seen it, not in general like when it's going to be out in English :/ Just like the Japanese episode discussions. It usually takes a year longer for the US, doesn't it?

Part 2 (doing it in parts because otherwise it'll be one huge post, think I might put a few together in a minute)

- They actually *are* using the TV BGM XDD As well as new movie BGM
- Glasses Joy
- LOL Ash and Shaymin widest mouth contest 6:26
- Why isn't the music when Shaymin is on Satoshi's head on CD!?
- Everyone's eyes look very pretty!
- It's cute how Satoshi is getting annoyed!

But you are right it takes a year-ish to come out in US so the do take long to translate as you would expect..and they allways announce the next movie anyway, Movie 12 was announced in theaters when Movie 11 was out, then announced like end of 2008 on TV in Japan and saying it will be released in the summer 2009 as nearly every Pokemon film has been out.

Jorah where did you get this movie? I really want to see the opening and ending and ill wait untill someone does a sub for it before I actualy watch it.

Umm. If you havent noticed, Every summer theres been a new movie..

Yeah, ROD was a CN appearence then a three month later follow up on DVD.

If anyones watching it via internet tell me.

I thought this movie was sort of dull. I only liked shaymin.

It was Seed Flare. Nurse Joy explained that I believe. I find the most funny part in the movie when Shaymin making Ash mad.

The movie was ok, I think the people who liked the Celebi, Jirachi and Manafi movie will like this one.
As for my self, like I said, the movie was ok, but nothing outstanding. Gratina in CGI when it was caught looks terrible. Brock didn't get to do anything in this movie, which wasn't much of a supprise.

I'm supprised that Ash's head didn't fall off which Shaymin turning it left and right. "That way. No! That way!"


Brandon's opponent during the intro in the 6th movie. She's got all the Eevee evolutions until the 5th Gen is going to be out.

I am starting to watch the movie. I see the narrator is going on with the intro speech again.

Man! I'm in the same public computer again, and it still sucks to have no sound. I'm watching this at home. I'll give a full review later, when my mom stops going all "mushy mushy" about my bad math grades and leave me in peace. AND when she isn't home, and I get my router in good shape. :( The computer restarted itself after an update, and the wireless connection went nuts. Grr...

I wasn't expecting Brock to do anything either. But he REALLY doesn't get too much screen time? Poory...

*looks at spoiler 1* Wow, Ash REALLY looks pissed. I might as well catch up and see how Shaymin crossed the line.

*stares at spoiler 3, drooling* LUKAS!!!! He still looks so cool and hawt! Even with his strange attire, which is actually (sort of) Ash's outfit! Except for the hat, the beret and his COOL face! (I am a lil "Lucas-fangirl"ish.)

This was a pretty good movie. Nothing astonishingly special, but Shaymin was cute. :3 Since I don't understand Japanese much, I probably missed much stuff, so I hope I'll find a subtitled version someday. But anyway, my thoughts in this movie:

-Shaymin talk was all cute. It goes either "Desho! Desho!" or in Sky forme, "Desu! Desu!" and when it doesn't talk, it just says "Mi! Mii!" Awwww~
-Brock got left out two times. :'D His face looked like: "Aww, they left me behind again! I was hoping that I could actually do something in this movie!" Especially the second time. XD
-As s Team Rocket fan, I was always asking "But what happened to Team Rocket?" They were almost left in that other dimention. But I wasn't even expecting that they would do much, at least they now interacted with other characters a little.
-Stupid Team Rocket, if you want to go back to the real world, don't hold on to the rocks. :P
-Whoa, there were so many Shaymin?
-I actually liked the Another Form of Giratina more :O
-I don't know what that short pikaboo-thing after the credits was, but it was really cute. <3 I loved the way how the Pokemon of 'the Twerps' and Team Rocket were like a one, big group. The music was... Pokemon March Medley or something like that?

Hello, I'm done with the movie...

*sniff* I love this movie, this is the best one in the whole Pokemon movie ever. I even got teary when Shaymin and Ash cried at their respective times. The part where Zero was taken by the police and Mugen helping him up made my heart go all mushy mushy. Zero was a bad guy, but he was still happy that Mugen didn't forget him... I love this movie!

And the son/daughter (for Dawn's case) to parent gratitude by giving flowers touched me.

Oops, I'm running out of time. It's 2 am, I need to sleep. I'll write more later. CYA, NYA!

I actually stopped at part 6 and watched the credits because I'm waiting for subs haha

- Lol, Rocket Gang just walk up to them, steal it, and run away...that's actually pretty hilarious

- lol they blown up the bubble with Takeshi in XD Satoshi *really* doesn't want him stalking him anymore

- Satoshi and Shaymin's arguments are funny XD Even though I do't understand them...

Part 4

- Hehe, it's funny to see the main Pokemon dislike Satoshi XD Too cute
- Did they say something about Cresselia?

Part 5

- OMG we see Staravia
- Giratina's screech is crepy, just like in the game

Part 6

I think I'll wait for subs, I keep getting distracted and doing other things

Hello, I'm back for a review.

The movie itself is touching. About the Zero and Mugen part in the credits, the child-to-parent moment with the Glacidea Flowers, and the part of Satoshi and Shaymin. It moved me to near tears.

I posted up a Shaymin crying scene and a Satoshi one. Both scenes stabbed onto my heart like crazy, and I couldn't help but get teary.

In the credits, there was a part where we see Shaymin sleeping under a log with her friends, right? That part of the song also saddened me.

So part 1 is up...

-Is it me or did they use the trainer battle theme in D/P/Pt? I'm darn sure.
-The quality between this movie and the TV series is the same. Usually in the movie, the quality is better, but now they look the same.
-Shaymin was so cute, sneaking around like that.
-I was like "OH NOES" when Giratina pulled Dialga and Shaymin into the Reverse World.
-"MIIIIIIIII!!!" Doh! Shaymin doesn't deserve to be flung around like that!
-What was that blue thing Giratina used?
-Yeah! Dialga escaped!
-Wow, this movie has the best 3-D rendered opening ever. I felt a bit dizzy just looking at it.
-Yeah, TV series BGM!


OK, up to Part 2!
-Seriously, I have nothing to say, but the movie is drawn like the TV series...
-Cute muddy Shaymin walking over to the food!
-Greggulu, you have to eat, or you won't get strong!
-Satoshi, this also makes me hungry... (true, I AM hungry now...)
-"MINNA STOPPU!" Haha, nice.
-WAH!!! WHAT KIND OF GLASSES ARE DOSE!? THEY LOOK LIKE SOMETHING MUSASHI WEARS! Come to think of it, where's TR?
-BERD!!! (Brock + Nerd)
-I was counting down as to when Greggulu would jab him, and I successfully counted up to 10!
-Wow, so THAT'S how Seed Flare works.
-Satoshi has issues.

Part 3/9!
-"Who are you desho ka?" lol
-Well AT LEAST they didn't forget Brock!
-Mugen Graceland = a very optimistic, nice-nice guy. He has a few traits of Ash's personality: hot-headed, stupid, and funny.
-Yeah! They related this to Movie 10!
-Ooh, a fake! ...oops, you. Pissed. Giratina. Off.
-"Naruhodo, soyukotoka." I HATE ZERO'S SEIYUU!!! HE SOUNDS SO... constipated.
-OOH, MAGNEMITE ATTACK!!!

It's "Kono Yubi Tomare", or, "Stay With This Finger" in English. It's actually based on the move Follow Me. This song is made of puns of moves the Pokemon uses, like Huntail, Primeape, and such, but in their Japanese names.

Omg wow this is some amazing movie. Im up to the part where they get sucked in for the first time. Also unown if you didnt see in the eevee pic theres and ash look alike running in the backround. IS that red?

It was an amazing movie, and I can't wait until we get it here in America.
My favorite part was when Shaymin saved Giratina, they are ausum friends
I loved how Giratina was absolutely huge, and I was laughing at how it's eyes are as big as Skymin.
I loved Giratina's cry as well, it sounded... sinister.
