    Do you still remember your very first Pokemon Team and Game? I can. My first game was a used Pokemon Blue version I got from a garage sale in 2009.

    Here was my first Pokemon Team:

    Overleveled Charizard (Named T-rex)
    Underleveled Pidgeotto (Named Bird)
    Underleveled Starmie
    Underleveled Kadabra
    Underleveled Onix #1
    Underleveled Onix #2 (Named Rock Snake)

    Yep! I remember.
    -a waay too op and overlevelled typhlosion
    -the red gyarados
    -a pigeotto
    -a paras
    -an onix called Rocky (traded it for a bellsprout in Violet City)
    All the above said pokes other than the typhlosion had their levels in the range of 5-30. My starter was literally the only Pokemon I used in battles. All the others were simply HM slaves. It's exact level while facing Lance's last Dragonite was 60.
    Edit: My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Gold, by the way.
     
    My first game (unofficially) was Yellow, and the only Pokemon I can remember using for sure was Zapdos, because I got bored of Pikachu and wanted a better Electric type, haha. Pretty sure I had Charizard, Lapras, Kadabra (because I couldn't trade) and Pidgeot too, but considering it was 17 years ago, they're nothing more than guesses at this point.
     
    I remember I only stuck with Chikorita because I was too young to understand about pokemonz
     
    I was just thinking about this yesterday. Before entering the League in Silver, I switched a party member out for a second Lugia, but I can't for my life remember what Pokémon that was. My Hall of Fame team was most likely this:
    • Typhlosion
    • Ampharos
    • Quagsire
    • Red Gyarados
    • Lugia #1
    • Lugia #2

    It's this set-up that made Typhlosion and Ampharos a solid combination forever in my mind. :)

    You see, I'd used to play my cousins' sloppy seconds of Pokémon games and used their teams. But I remember having this Vaporeon that I'd ADORED with her nickname being "Orange".
     
    My first game was Red. I remember having Venusaur, Pidgeot, and Raichu, the others I can't recall.
     
    My very first was Yellow.

    Raichu (Traded with my cousin's Yellow version so both of our Pikachus could evolve), Articuno, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur and Mewtwo.

    It was all about raw power back in the day, or at least for a few years old kid like myself.
