So in the pokemon games, like any good rpg there are dungeons. A lot of them are similar to each other at that. This poll is to decide which dungeon archetype is the fan favorite. Mine are the Victory Road and the giant mountain.

Many of the areas with legendaries have some of the coolest map designs in the entire franchise and a lot of unique elements, as opposed to a lot of the early forest/cave areas most of which lack a lot of personality/uniqueness imo. I meant to vote for Item Hunting as well whoops haha. That's also pretty fun! Anything that breaks free from the mold of the typical Pokémon dungeon design.

I love the early game forests and the giant mountain dungeons. Those 2 add the greatest sense of adventure for me.

Mountains? Its completely understandable. But what makes you like those bug infested early game forests at the time when people don't even have enough money to spend on repels!?

I like the optional side areas for exploration. My favorite is the Abandoned Ship/Sea Mauville since not only is the concept itself cool, I also like the music and it has detailed lore behind it.

I love the crime syndicate-related places, that's where the most awesome parts of the story happens. I really dislike item hunting locations because they don't move the story forward and give me the constant nagging feeling that I'm missing something. That's especially the case with Shoal Cave; I still don't know what the hell I'm doing there. D:

I really like the forests in Pokemon games and have loads of memories of the likes of Viridian Forest and Petalburg Woods. The mountains of the Pokemon world are really cool too, but I kinda find them a bit laborious at times so that's why I voted for the forests :)

I love all the Legendary layouts, they're just so pretty and hard to beat in appeal. For example, the Spear Pillar on Mt. Coronet is stunning, has to be the best Pokémon area ever imo.

Otherwise, all the underwater caves or caves with puddles give off a such mysterious, relaxing vibe. The reflection of the water is really pretty !!
