    there is a square thing next to your username, right?
    I saw that some people's are green while some are, blank.
    mine says that i have a dasabled reputation.
    how can i un-disable it?

    It depends in what context it's used in. I believe the one you are referring to is when people say "PM me!" or something similar. You can check the FAQ/Help at the top of every page for details on the Private Message system and many other features.
