Pokémon - Project Victory

October - Year 2008, Kanto and Johto

Team Rocket manages to create a machine capable of stealing Pokémon from trainers. They find this new technology from the ruins of a base on an island far away, this machine was once known as the Snag Machine, it is now known as Project Victory.

Team Rocket storm Kanto and Johto, stealing Pokémon from Gym Leaders and Professors alike, the regions are frozen in fear, startled by the suddenness of it all. Nobody is prepared for what is to come, the Gym Leaders are in peril, all of their most prized Pokémon are stolen; only the Elite Four and the local trainers are left with their Pokémon, yet the Elite Four so sensible to risk them getting stolen, and the people of the regions to frightened to rebel.

A shadow is cast over the regions and Team Rocket take rule over them, designating a curfew, and stealing the Pokémon of anyone who is seen wandering the now ghostly streets.

November - Year 2008, Kanto and Johto

As Giovanni begins to let his guard down, former Gym Leaders and Professors alike begin to gather within the ruins of Pallet Town, creating a base inside the old Laboratory. As Pallet has been completely destroyed and Routes empty of wild Pokémon who had all but fled to Sinnoh, Team Rocket had stopped patrolling the area.

As the Sixteen Gym Leaders from Kanto and Johto discuss what they must do with the two famous Professors, Elm and Oak. They realise that without their Pokémon, they have no power what so ever. It is then that the sinking truth sets, they must accept reality. They have failed, Team Rocket have finally won.

Communications have been cut off, and it seems that the other regions of the world have turned their back to the once glorious Kanto and Johto.

December - Year 2008, Kanto

As Professor Oak sits alone in his laboratory, four knocks are heard on the window, he approaches his door cautiously, sliding the locks open, and pulling a rather large dusty handle, as smoke from the fires that burnt the routes seeped into the lab, a tall woman could be seen smiling sweetly. She was dressed in a long black coat, buttoned up, covering both her body and legs, she had long golden blonde hair, and a warm caring smile, she nodded to the Professor, and shook his hand tightly, it was Cynthia, the Champion of Sinnoh.

She explained to the Professor that the world was in ruins, and Project Victory was not only happening in Kanto and Johto, and that all around the world, the dominant gangs were taking control of their regions they came from.

Archie from the Region of Hoenn, the leader of Team Aqua, had been in contact with Giovanni and Cyrus and together, they had all planned Project Victory, it was on a cold night of October, that Archie began the Project, wiping out Maxie and Team Magma, murdering all of their employees, silently in the night, before moving onto the Gym Leaders, snagging all of their Pokémon and then declaring control over Hoenn. It was then that authorities contacted Sinnoh and requested urgent assistance, it was then, when the authorities of Sinnoh were alerted, that Cyrus managed to cut off all means of electrical communication, before snagging all of the Pokémon of the Sinnoh Gyms, once this was done, and Giovanni was informed that his plan was working, that Kanto and Johto fell into darkness.

The world is in peril. Only the Elite Four are left standing, but there is nothing they can do, even if they banded together, they would still have their Pokémon snagged, Team Rocket would be expecting a rebellion, and so they would be prepared.

Cynthia then explains to the Professor, that there is a legend, that when the world is in darkness, and the enemy has control of all that is good, that the legendary creatures which keep this world in balance, will find great heroes, and that those heroes will become, the greatest Pokémon trainers to live, and they will fight the greatest battle to defeat the darkest villains.

But Giovanni is aware of this legend, as Cyrus of Sinnoh has warned him of the prophecy, which is why he is entrusting the children of his greatest employees with Pokémon, so that they can put a stop to this prophecy and become great villains, as he knows, his grunts are no match for true trainers, ones that have grown with their Pokémon, and know love, friendship and courage, so he must be prepared.

But in the prophecy, it does not speak of whether or not the heroes will defeat the darkness, so this your time to decide, what side will you choose?

Alone, with your only Pokémon, you will soon face an epic journey from the region of Kanto and then onto other regions, in which you will build up a team of strong Pokémon to help you in your quest, with the aid of a Legendary Pokémon for guidance if you are a hero. But the support of a mighty gang with control over Kanto if you are a villain, you will need all the help you can get to either save the region, or keep it in darkness.

Heroes: Tonight you will be awoken by a legendary creature which will inform you that you are one of the few chosen people who will save the region and remove the cruel shadow which looms over the once bright and peaceful world. Your legendary will explain to you what you must do, that you must train your Pokémon and rise up to face the darkness. But alone with only one starter and a legendary that cannot fight for you, can you accomplish this task?

Villains: You will be awoken by a parent or friend, informing you that you have been one of the few chosen to report to Giovanni himself, there he direct you to a room filled with Pokémon, and will offer you a starter Pokémon which will be any of the pre-evolution dark or ghost types. Once you choose your Pokémon you will be asked to hunt down any of the surviving Gym Leaders and the new heroes and rid the world of them one by one, will you accomplish this task? Or will your time travelling change your views on Team Rocket.

Rules

1. Good Grammar please, if you are not the greatest of spellers, run a spell check, it can really make your writing look a look better, as if you write things that people do not understand, well it can make the Role-Play really confusing.

2. Your Legendary Pokémon will be with you to guide you in the Role-Play, however, do not make it speak to you every five seconds because, it will only be there for you in the greatest time of need and until I say, it will not help you in battles.

3. Please read the Sign-Up sheet. I don't understand why people apply with a random Sign-Up template which has things I didn't want to know and ignores the things I did. Copy and paste the empty Sign-Up sheet and fill in the details. Also make your character interesting, boring characters are not fun to RP with. So give your character a dark past or a happy past and likes and dislikes and, generally just a nice realistic but interesting personality.

4. Stick to the plot, most of the time I will allow you to add things to the plot as this RP and you can but do not make it a global event like, "A Charizard flew over Kanto and burnt all the houses in Viridian and everyone fell over and died." Because if somebody just posted in Viridian; well they will be annoyed. I know my sample is a bit over the top but you know what I mean.

5. No power playing, you will lose battles, but that is life, do not worry, losing makes you stronger in the long run, it allows you to figure out your strengths and weaknesses, and makes the RP more interesting.

6. If I say you are declined, please do not constantly ask why, ask via a PM or do not ask at all, and please do not make the majority of your posts out of character, save that for the OOC thread.

7. Have fun and post frequently; also inform me if you are on a break and no character control unless you have been given permission.

Personality: Are you a happy person or an angry person? What is it about you that make you unique, what are you likes and dislikes, your wants and fears? Only Three Lines Needed

Chosen Legendary: These will follow you throughout the RP and you may talk to them however, only you will be able to see them and other chosen heroes, Darkrai is not allowed, keep the legendaries to their personality in the TV show, search online if you need to know. These cannot find for you but can speak to you throughout the RP.

Any Pre-Evolution Pokémon for a Chosen Hero other than Dark of Ghost: And then you may capture Pokémon as you progress through the story, for Chosen Villain: Any Dark or Ghost Pre-Evolution Pokémon. This is more like the anime, they know as many moves as they can, but they have to be able to learn those moves, and those moves will not be powerful unless you make a great post with them.

RPG Information

1. To challenge a Gym Leader you must make it to the appropriate city and must make it there in a reasonable time, you may not just arrive in Pallet then jump to Viridian and so on. You need to cross all real locations, search Kanto to know more information.

2. When it comes to capturing Pokémon, you will find the Pokémon in the places they are found in the games, search online for more information, once you get to a place where you can find that Pokémon you may approach it, however think wisely because you can only have a party of six, we cannot put Pokémon in boxes, Team Rocket can however.

3. Battling and Capturing the Pokémon, you must RP the battle or capture and end in the Pokémon either shaking violently, or the Pokémon falling to the ground and you watching cautiously, depending on your post I will decide whether you caught the Pokémon or not.

4. You may add plot twists and may travel with people, however major plot twists need to be messaged to me before you post them so I can review and see if it is acceptable.

5. When you feel it is time for your Pokémon to evolve please PM me and I will review your relationship and their battles and see if it is time.

6. Your Squirtle will not know Hydro Pump from birth, be patient with moves, it adds to the fun.

7. You may control the Kanto and Johto Gym Leaders but if you want them to travel with you like Misty does with Ash in the anime you must PM me first and I shall see depending on how great you are at Role-Playing. Remember the Gym Leaders have no Pokémon, if they travel with you, you can make them catch them, you will not find the old Gym Leaders in their Gyms, yet you can find the Professor in his lab along with Elm.

Gym Leaders

Who They Are And How To Challenge Them:

There are various Gym Leaders which have taken the place of the Kanto Gym Leaders. These are placed here to test those who could potentially be great Rocket members, upon defeating the Gym Leaders you will be given the badge that was given by the previous Gym Leaders, this will give you permission to roam the town after the curfew and also, will give you authority to leave the town and challenge another Gym. Once you have all eight badges you can then officially apply to work in Team Rocket. And at the time the region is in, Team Rocket is the best work force to join now.

Heroes: Whether you are planning not to join Team Rocket does not matter, the Gym Badges provide you with privileges to roam the towns and cities after curfew and also allow you to travel across the region without Team Rocket becoming suspicious. You should attempt to collect the badges; who knows, you might even decide to join Team Rocket in the future.

Villains: This is a great way to train your Pokémon by taking part in the new Pokémon League. It will also grant you more respect along your fellow Team Rocket employees, and who knows, you may just eventually end up with a promotion. The heroes will be training for their quest; you must stay at their level, if not stronger, a weak villain is not going to be any help for Team Rocket.

You may defeat each Gym Leader but you will need to have a brilliant post each time and make the Gym Leaders look powerful. We need tension and drama, not just a quick, use a random move, make it sound dramatic so the Pokémon falls and then win the Gym. We need at least three paragraphs of pure fighting to win a Gym.

Travelling with Anime Characters

Apart from the Gym Leaders and Giovanni, you can travel with the characters from the anime. Just remember they have all lost their Pokémon and will not be really strong. Plus you must keep these characters true to their personality.

Capturing Pokémon

You must have a successful battle to capture Pokémon and end with the Pokémon almost being captured, I will then review the battle and if it seems good enough for the Pokémon you are attempting to capture, I will post informing you of whether you acquired this Pokémon or not.

Pokémon and Their Moves

Like in the anime and in real life, we do not learn punch...and then kick, we just know these things. And I will allow your Pokémon to know as many moves as they can. However, your new Pokémon will not be using extra powerful moves at the beginning of the RP. And just like in real life and in the anime, the moves will grow in strength as you and your Pokémon also grow.

Pokémon Evolving

Just like in the RP the Pokémon will not evolve at specific levels and will evolve when you wish them to. Just ask in the OOC thread and I shall review your relationship with the Pokémon and read all your posts and see if they are ready to evolve...If I accept, you must RP the exciting evolution.

Appearance: Michael is a short boy for his age yet not too short. He stands five foot five tall and has short black hair and caramel tanned skin with bright grass green eyes that when you glance into them give you a feeling of warmth and comfort. Many people mistake his eyes for blue as they change depending on the weather; this is however, a natural occurrence. He has a small scar near his eyebrow and few freckles upon his face, his freckles are not very visible though due to the tone of his skin. He has pearl white teeth which are very straight however he tends not to show them and does not know how to smile properly as when he does smile he feels uncomfortable, so instead he usually gives a sly smirk. His faces lights up brightly and a true smile does emerged though when he is laughing. He dresses in a white shirt which is not tucked into and has the top button undone, revealing part of his tanned chest, visible on his neck is part of a silver chain which is hidden by the shirt, at the end of a chain lies a diamond cross, given to him by his grandmother. He has a diamond bracelet which rests on his wrists and is visible when he pulls his sleeves up. He wears black urban jeans and a belt which keeps them on his waist as they are baggy and he is slim. On his feet lie white shoes with black soles and a black tick curved on them.

History: Michael was born into a lower-class family in the city of Pewter. A small city with no tourism and lack of funds for interesting facilities other than the museum and the Gym Leader, people find themselves defeating Brock easily as he is the first Gym Leader and his reason for being one is to kick start the Pokémon League for Trainers. Due to him not using his strongest Pokémon in battle, people find themselves not needing to spend money on items. Due to this the city is usually empty and ghost like and Michael finds himself quite lonely without other teenagers to speak to. However he grew warm to the fact of being alone other than with Pokémon and he began to grow close to a female Espeon and a male Umbreon. These Pokémon belonged to his parents and were the best friends of Michael. He grew up peacefully in Pewter with no conflict, and on his 16th Birthday he was finally given his own Pokémon, a female Eevee, which he named Aliyah. Michael and Aliyah quickly grew a close bond and became the best of friends, and one night, when Michael walked the streets of Pewter, he noticed strange looking men lurking outside the Pewter City Gym. It was later that night that Brock had his Pokémon snagged by employees of Team Rocket. Michael fled to his house, and his parents hid Aliyah, Espeon, Umbreon and him in the basement. As Team Rocket barged into the house, they hunted for Pokémon, but his parents denied having any. After a long search, they finally gave up, laughing hysterically before leaving the house, it was then that the pair summoned their Pokémon and ordered them to set the house in flames. With a burst of fire glass shattered in the house and the parents screamed, Michael and the Pokémon quickly left the basement terrified, and watched as their home burnt, they quickly fled out the backdoor and hid until the Rocket Grunts left the city. They then fled to the Gym, and watched as Brock sat alone, traumatised, his prized Pokémon...gone. Michael and his parents then fled with Aliyah and their Pokémon to Viridian City, the only place that Team Rocket had not yet entered, and began to live with his Grandmother. That night, Michael would sleep...peacefully, for the first time in a long time, that night; he would be awoken by a legendary creature

Personality: Michael is a laid back character; he loves to make new friends but does not need friends to be happy. He finds he has a natural gift for interacting with Pokémon and that all Pokémon immediately seem to trust him, he is pure of heart and being brought up with only his mother and father at his side, he has not be exposed to much violence or conflict. Aliyah, just like the Pokémon of his mother and father are all never used for battling, and are instead, just part of the family. Never has his mother agreed with the morals of Professor Oak and Michael has been raised to never battle Aliyah and to only fight when necessary to defend himself of his family. At times Michael likes to joke around but immaturity annoys him when serious things are going on and irresponsibility also irritates him. He believes that Pokémon should not be controlled or told what to do by their human partners, and they should work together as friends.

Nature: Timid

Personality: Aliyah was raised brilliantly by both her nurturing mother Espeon and her protective father Umbreon. Although both Pokémon had not been raised to fight, they had taught their only daughter a lot in self defence and also taught her that she should never trust those she does not know and to defend and stand by Michael forever, Aliyah loves to meet other Pokémon and on a first impression is seen as a beautiful and friendly Eevee with a bright smile. However, Aliyah can turn fierce if anyone would try to harm her family and would risk her life in a split second to protect those she loves. Aliyah honours her parents as much as she does Michael and they taught her also to defend those who need it. Which is why if she sees anyone in dire need for help, provided they need help for the right reasons, she would jump to their aid without a second thought. For a Timid Pokémon, Aliyah could easily be seen as Brave. Her bright blue eyes sparkle in the shining sunlight and the dazzle in the crystal moonlight.

Occupation: Pokemon Center Nurse

Appearance: Destiny is a noticeable person. She stands out in the crowds with her deep hazel eyes, with big pupils. Her long jet-black hair is a feature that only she can put into words: "beautiful." Her face is small, and her eyes are long from left to right and they are not very big. Her lips are delicate, they seem to 'shine' in the sun. She usually wears tight dark-blue jeans and a light green blouse however she sometimes dresses formally in a gown if going to an important event. She has earrings that were given to her by her Grandmother. They are small red triangular jewels. She likes to wear white sandals with a brown cover on them with a thick green stripe. She is about 4"9.2", not very tall, and she weighs around 87. She is a very small person.

History: Destiny was born 17 years ago in a nice day in July, 1992. She was an only child in her roomy house in Cerulean Town, Kanto. When she was 8, Team Rocket plundered her house and stole her father's favorite TM - Dig. Her father's way of making money was going underground to discover treasure and items of value. Since he had no job, he was forced to become part of Team Rocket. In 2001, it had been a year after the robbing. Team Rocket had captured his mind and he left Destiny with her mother alone. He refused to give his once family money, so Destiny and her mother had to move to a cheaper area, in Johto. They lived in New Bark Town for a while, peacefully. She often went to the Professor nearby to check on what he was doing. They became great friends. He told her mysterious stories, legends, and prophecies. He was like a best friend to her. In 2004, the Professor realized she was perfect to have her own Pokemon. He gave her a Meditite. She loved the Meditite, and enjoyed spending time with him. Meditite was a calm Pokemon, and he fought to protect Destiny. Over the years they became great friends. She continued her livelihood style, going to the Professor to show him the new things that Meditite and Destiny had taught eachother. In 2008, her home was plundered once again. She had no where to go. She was on her own.

She decided to stay in Johto for the remainder of what she called 'home' but she didn't have much to do there. She heard about the Machine that steals other people's Pokemon so she hid out by a nearby river with Comet to stay away from the dreadful Team Rocket. Today she lives out in the forest and enjoys going to the nearby floral fields to check out what goes on.

Personality: Destiny is a silent person, like her Meditite, Comet. They like to work together, and not in a group of three or more. They will only do so if they have to. She is friendly to everyone but is calm to people she first meets. Her catch-phrase, "Silent but deadly" describes her in battle. She is vengeful, as she wants to take revenge on her father for joining Team Rocket after them plundering their home. She also wants to avenge her mother's death.

Personality: Comet is a very calm Pokemon that meditates with Destiny alot. They work together as a team very well. Comet is often very silent but in fights he can be violent. He enjoys meditating before and after a fight to warm-up and cool-down. He is great friends with his Pokemon Trainer and he loves Destiny dearly.

Name: Alex Bihar

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Occupation: None in particular.

Appearance:
Alex basically looks like your average sixteen year old. Well, with an Indian twist, of course. He's roughly six feet and two inches tall, something he gets from his parents. He has a thin build, but he works out often so he has quite a bit of muscle. Alex isn't ripped, but he does have a nice six pack. Even though he has a six pack, this doesn't mean he has those ripped man-boob like muscle. That just bugs him. His skin is an even shade of tan, but slightly darker than his younger brother's. His hair is black and goes to his shoulders. Alex keeps his hair up about ninety percent of the time, however, just because it annoys him most of the time. He refuses to get it cut shorter though. Alex's eyes are basically black. His parents always joke about him having soulless eyes—something that might almost seem true. There is a light tint of brown in his eyes, but you only see that if he's staring at the sun. Alex's teeth are mostly straight, with the exception of his canine teeth that are pointed in an odd outward way. His parents decided he didn't need braces, however, so sometimes when he bites his lip or grins a certain way he looks like he has fangs. Alex hates this, because he thinks it makes him look like a vampire.

For clothing, Alex prefers dark colors. He wears black and gray a lot, but there's an occasional white shirt in his laundry. Alex generally sticks to a snug T-shirt that shows he has muscle, but you would only be able to tell by his arms and his size in reality. Occasionally he will wear a jacket over the shirt, but only if it's cold. This jacket is a simple one, being black in color as well. If he does choose to wear the jacket, that's one of the off occasions that Alex will wear a white shirt and he will also leave it about a quarter of the way unzipped. The jacket is zip up and has pockets on the side. Instead of a normal hood, Alex's jacket has a faux furred hood. It keeps him warm, so he doesn't complain. The only thing special about it is the back. It has a giant wolf paw print on it that is sewed on in red. Alex wears jeans all the time. You'd never, ever see him in shorts. For jean colors, he goes for gray ones or dark blue. They generally drag on the ground as well, something that Alex likes. He wears simple black and white Converse on his feet. Obviously he wears socks, but they're just plain white ones. All in all, Alex is basically a very color-neutral guy. Even his hair ties are black. For accessories, he does have a simple gold chain that was given to him by his father. He wears it all the time, though he isn't quite sure why. He doesn't need a belt, but that's only really because his parents get his clothes custom fitted, seeing as his size is rather…off.

History:
Alex was born and raised in the town of Pallet. He was born in the month of December 2nd as Suraj Bihar. His family owned a decent two-story home there, and never found reason to move so they never did. When the bad things started to happen, it almost seemed as if Pallet was going to be forever safe. That is, until Team Rocket finally arrived. Alex's parents had him and his younger brother hide. Alex's mother was pregnant at the time, but luckily she was getting some needed supplies in Johto. Seeing as Alex was in charge that night, he took his brother and hid on the outer edge of Pallet Town, near the sea. They watched helplessly as Team Rocket destroyed their home, wondering if their father was still alive or not. They arrived back to the house only to find it in ruins. Their father was alive, but it seemed like everything had changed. His father had his leg crushed, and was forever imprisoned with a gimp. Luckily they had no Pokémon, so Team Rocket hadn't gained a thing. That was the day Alex changed his name from Suraj to Alex. He didn't know why he did it, but he did. He also vowed to get revenge on Team Rocket.

On Alex's 16th birthday, he decided to venture out to the sea once more. By now it was December, cold and snowing. He was wearing his jacket when he left, seeing as it was so cold out. When he paused at the sea, Alex sat down on the bank and simply thought. He didn't know how long the time went by, but he just thought and thought. A few hours later was when he noticed it. There was a blue raft being churned in the waves. It was like you see on boats—the circle shaped things that people throw in the water when you fall overboard. Alex noticed something odd about this lifesaver though—it seemed to have a head and a tail. Seconds later, he realized it wasn't a raft, but a Pokémon. Without caring for his own safety, Alex dove into the churning winter waves to save it.

Upon pulling it out, Alex saw the Pokémon was barely alive. Though he was soaking wet and shivering, Alex wrapped the snake-like Pokémon in his jacket and ran back home. His T-shirt was soaked to the bone and he was freezing, but the adrenaline rush made him uncaring for his own safety. Finally he arrived at his slightly broken home. Alex brought the Pokémon inside, but collapsed in the doorway. His little brother found him there and ran to get his father. Alex fought hypothermia along with the little Dratini, but together they pulled through. In the end, it all turned out alright. Dratini and Alex are almost inseparable. Dratini enjoys coiling itself around Alex's body for fun.

Personality:
The first thing you'd notice about Alex as far as personality goes is that he is very serious. Alex doesn't take any crap from anyone, and won't back down in a fight. He's strong willed and very stubborn, but knows when and when not to be. Alex is also a very quiet person and doesn't really have many friends, so he tends to keep to himself. He's very open with his little brother, however. His little brother really is only four years younger than Alex himself, but Alex still teases him like he was a kid. Alex is very protective of his sibling along with his Pokémon, and often blames himself if something bad happens. All in all, he's really a nice guy, but most people don't see past the muscles or the frowny expression on his face. Though he keeps to himself a lot, Alex is actually quite smart. He's been called a genius, but prefers to keep his...talent hidden. Giant overshadow for his brother, the poor little kid.

Personality: Dratini is a very happy and carefree Pokémon. It tries to be like Alex, but quite frankly Dratini is more playful than anything. He will, however, do anything in his power to protect Alex if something bad were to happen. In short, Dratini is playful but knows when to be serious.

Appearance: Damion's hair is a shimmering blonde, radiant even; his hair becomes a lighter shade as it reaches the top of his head becoming a light cornflower blonde. Damion's hair drasitcally changed from when he was younger, now his hair is straight and falls down. His bangs flare up just a little then fall to the right side of his face with jagged ends. The back of his hair falls down and flares out into jagged ends, his ear is visible. Slightly being covered by a piece of his bangs and another piece of hair that falls in front of his ear. Unlike both of his grandparents, he has a pair of bright golden amber eyes. One can say they are similar to a wolf's eyes, golden and brilliant. One can even get lost in them.

Damion stands at 5"11', the average height for a 15 year old. He has a well conditioned body, toned muscles on his abdomen and some of his arms. He weighs a healthy 150 lbs and has a well conditioned body due to the many sports he's played since childhood. Being the Japanese boy he is, as is everyone else in Kanto and Johto, he has a nice peachy tone to his skin.

While he's out traveling, he's wearing his favorite pieces of clothing that keep him warm. Kanto and Johto have fallen under darkness, the climate has seen its better days. He wears a long-sleeved red shirt that is underneath his favorite blue jacket, it's not a hefty jacket but just a thin light one. The jacket itself is left unzipped to reveal his red shirt and has a collar that stands on end, reaching Damion's jaw bone. He wears a pair of army green jeans that fit him nicely. He wears a pair of white shoes with a blue tongue, blue bottom, blue laces, and a blue check-like mark on the sides. The word 'Nike' spread across the back in blue.

Accessory-wise, he wears a creamy white colored scar that he wraps around his neck and falls down. It ends just above his stomach area and ends in three smooth points. He carries around a white traveling bag with matching straps.

History: Damion is a country boy, so to speak. He lived in Pallet Town for the majority of his life, and lived on his grandparent's Pokemon Ranch. Damion's mother died in a car crash when he was around the age of five, and his father was so stricken by her death he attempted suicide. When Damion's grandfather stopped his son, Damion's father fled and left Damion under the care of his grandparents, Tai Sugimori and Starla Morango Sugimori, and embarked on a journey to find himself again. But it was a common misconception among the many children of Pallet that his father had murdered his mother, this always bothered Damion.

This traumautic experience, his mother dying and his father almost commiting suicide, made Damion have a quiet demeanor and not socialize much. His grandparents noted that Damion spent much of his time playing around with pokemon, and a small blue egg, the only beings that he showed his true self. A happy-go-lucky boy who wants to bea trainer. His life was the same up until the age of fourteen, when Kanto and Johto were taken over. Pallet was under seige and the Pokemon Ranch was invaded by Team Rocket, Damion's grandparents had tangled with their kind before but this time they failed to protect their grandson when every pokemon on the ranch was snagged away.

Damion watched as his grandparents were defeated, he had never seen that before. His grandparent's scooped up Damion, but not before the boy picked up the blue egg that he hid. They took refuge in the outskirts of Viridian City in a small cabin where his grandparent's dearest friend lived, Iris Blanche. All Damion had now, were the books in the cabin and the small blue egg he cherished.

The happiest moment in Damion's life came on his fifteenth birthday. But the joy didn't come from a party, it didn't come from presents either, but the newly hatched Squirtle that emerged from the egg that same day. From that moment on, the only two things Damion loved were his grandparents...and pokemon.

Personality: Damion has a bitter attitude, a quiet demeanor, and an IQ of over 180. A tormented young man, Damion has always longed for acceptance in the world, constantly floating from book to book in search for more knowledge. Exceptionally smart and quick thinking, he has a tendency to over-analyze things, and has a very aloof attitude toward other people. Sometimes he is harsh and outright mean, and regards Team Rocket as the only threat to his high standing.

Damion lacks patience, and prefers constant action to repetitive and monotonous situations. He may even look for trouble for the sake of entertainment. He is by no means easily intimidated, and doesn't have an exceptionally short temper. Of course, when someone he cares about is harmed, he does get very angry at the one who did it to them and will fight to the death to prevent it from happening again.

As you might assume from the above statement, Damion also has a strong sense of justice. However, he firmly believes that right and wrong are just concepts, and that it's what you do and what you believe in that matters in the end. He personally thinks that the lives of others take priority over his own, though he's by no means incredibly selfless. However, he will gladly risk his life so that someone else can keep theirs without so much as a second's hesitation.

Personality: A slightly misguided, eccentric pokemon, with a half mad scientist kind of demeanor, Squirtle is often the calm voice of reason and the tempter of craziness wrapped in one. He is also always concerned for Damion, and watches out for him constantly.

•Appearance: Misty's usual hairstyle is let down, he hair reaches her shoulder and flares forward from underneath her ears, her bangs seem to flare out to the right. Her hair is a brilliant orange that resembles the sunset to some people. Her eyes are a bright blue-green color, resembling cerulean of all things. Her skin is a nice peachy color, similar to Damion's.​

She has a skinny body with features she has developed over the years. She has nice legs that were sculpted from many years of swimming. Her upper body isn't frail, but isn't as strong as her lower body is. She wears a red tank-top that ends above her naval, which some might call un-classy. The top itself has skinny, red straps that hang loosely over her shoulders, it also has a white stripe at the top. She also wears a pair of blue, checkered shorts that might show off too much of her legs. But she doesn't mind, she wears a pair of red sneakers with white bottoms and laces.​

Accessory-wise, she has a pair of ruby earrings that she wears and a small white bag with a pink strap which she carries her necessities in.​

Personality: Misty can be sweet and optimistic at times, but she is best known for how easily she can be angered or frustrated, and how loud and violent she can become in response. She is very extreme in most of her moods, and can switch between them quickly. Her goals are not as clear as those of the other people's, one thig that is certain as that she adores Water type pokemon, there's many things she loves to do and she is very confident in her abilities in all aspects of life. Fishing is one of her hobbies, along with swimming. The one thing Misty cannot stand are But-types; she tends to freak out in most cases whenever she encounters a Bug-type. However, bugs are only one of three things Misty strongly dislikes, the other two being carrots and peppers.​

Appearance: Ritchie has dark brown hair, it seems to be normal as it falls down towards his eyebrows. But his hair flares out at the sides and back, caused by his blue hat he wears. His hat has a white Pokeball insignia on the front. Ritchie's eyes are a dark brown that match his hair.​

He wears a plain white shirt that fits him nicely underneath a green vest that isn't buttoned up. He wears a silver dog tag around his neck with mother's name on it. The green vest has two pockets and each side and falls down to his naval-level. He wears a black belt with a silver belt-buckle in the shape of a pokeball sign that is shown off. He wears a pair of blue jeans and finally a pair of green sneakers with black bottoms and laces.​

He also wears a pair of green, fingerless gloves with white wristbands. He also wears an abornally large, green backpack with a golden bottom and green straps.​

Personality: Ritchie has changed a great deal over the course of five years, particularly in regards to his skill at Pokemon training, but his earnestness and determination have remained. Never straying from his goal, he has remained loyal to his friends, his family, and his supporters, but most of all his Pokémon. Ritchie is rather dependent on his friends, and has a happy-go-lucky attitude. ​
