The Official Harvest Moon Thread

Are there any other members that LOVE Harvest Moon?
I have:

GBA- Friends of Mineral Town
GC- Magical Melody and Another Wonderful Life
PS2- A Wonderful Life
DS-HM:DS, HM:CUTE, HM: Island of Happiness

SO, I got IoH a couple of months ago.. and I LOVE IT.
What does everyone else think?
It's different from the other games, but I think it's SO good.
I also like how it utilizes the touch screen, as opposed to DS and Cute!

I would suggest trying DS or Island of Happiness first :D

I love harvest moon so much! it's a great game about farm life and i happened to Like it so much!

I LOVE the Harvest Sprites in CUTE.
I really LOVE Island of Happiness, what do you think of it?
I think it's easier to play than CUTE is. The pace seems a little faster and the people seem to be easier to befriend. I also think the idea of having so many people on the island is neat :) it's not just like, 25 people like in the other games.

The only think I don't like about IoH is that you can't hire the sprites to help you :(

I LOVE Harvest Moon. I recently got Tree of Tranquility and I think it is really amazing (Luke is more amazing)

One thing that bugs me about some Harvest Moon games is how your kid never becomes a child; they just remain a baby forever. For some reason it just bugs me a lot.

I love the harvest moon series! I first started playing when I was around ten, when my friend bought over BTN! So I got my mom to buy it for me off ebay!

I would get TOT but i do not have a wii :( and For HM Cute I cannot get 60 spirtes! It annoying and I have every guy at a Red heart. Also I want to try out IOH but im not to sure I will like it, can any one tell me what its like?

Well IoH is easier than the cute but it really bugs me that you can't hire the sprites :( but it's much easier to be friends in IoH :) ^_^

It is: Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. For the Nintendo GameCube.

I play my older brother's ones that he has, like the newer ones...XD
I'd buy them all but I can't seem to find any on ebay that are in Australia. XD
Eg. Friends of Mineral Town.

I've got a Wii, and I'm currently checking the store regularly for Tree of Tranquility =p
Anyways, I haven't been able to play Harvest Moon DS for the last solid 4 days cause of finals, but after tomorrow's final I'm ready to go at it again n____n

EDIT: OMG, I just looked at my money today and I got the 1,000,000,000 fishing bonus! I am soo happy =p

Well I simply love especially the Tree of tranquility!

I only have two harvest moon games..

I have Freinds of Mineral Town and Rune Factory..
I picked up rune factory during my stay in america, but I never really got into it. I guess I was more interested in playing Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow at the time.

Meh, I really should start playing these games again. I know they're amazing, but I really don't have the time :(.

I'm a bit of a fan of Harvest Moon myself.

I might get Rune Factory 2 if I finally decide to get a new DS Lite or fix my current DS.

I used to play Harvest Moon, the ones i have played are:

HM:Back to Nature (PS1)
HM:A Wonderful Life (GCN)
HM:Friends of Mineral Town (GBA)
HM:DS (DS, duh)
HM:Magical Melody (Wii) yeah us in the UK got it on Wii

but now i only have Friends of Mineral Town and DS (for some reason i can never get rid of handheld games) and i haven't touched them in a while maybe I'll look into playing again sometime, most likely Friends of Mineral Town unless i can find a copy of A Wonderful Life somewhere, that one was my favorite.

I just bought Island of Happiness. I hope its good. So far its alot different then the other HM games I've played.

I only have A wonderful Life and Magical Melody. They're great games though, I like the franchise. It always interested me a lot more than Animal Crossing too. :P
