Hmm... Have you made sure your version of Firered is Ver. 1.0? If not, try to find ver. 1.0 If so, try using NUPS Patcher.
Actually I tired looking up FireRed on my desktop & nothing appeared. How I am able to even play Pokemon Sweet 2th is an utter mystery.

Currently I'm in the process of trying to get the names for all the new Pokesweets in game because of me helping out JanethePegasus with the national cookbook project. However due to my poor performing laptop I haven't really been able to play the game fully myself & have had to rely on videos on YouTube, looking on this thread, & sometimes even getting in contact with the creator of the game himself. Much like with the patches Ephraim puts out I will be updating this but on a Deviantart journal entry instead of here for convenience.

So umm I don't know if this is a glitch or not but it leads to a question i have cause i just caught a Rosebud for the first time and the when it brings up the pokedex to go to the entry it shows up and gives entry to Rattatart and also with the pokedex which leads to the question I have when you go threw the pokdex by artist Rosebud doesn't show up so my question is this "who is the artist that did the Rosebud sprite" it is very well done and it realy brings out what a candy form of bedew would look like

Jane & I have been working on this for almost two years & while the type match-up might not be entirely accurate to what the Demo has (seeing that there are some re-sprites of some of the older Pokesweets & the fact of there being 8 new types added into the mix) hopefully some of the sprite art will look familiar to what is in the Demo.

    Bro, that's amazing.
    cookbook_v5_by_pikafan2000-dapev4x.png
Thanks. Again it does have its differences with the game.
    Differences:
    - 96 x 96 sized images as opposed to the 64 x 64 size the game is known for
    - All seven generations are covered here.
    - Fan-made forms for older Pokemon have been included (some of which have been turned into Pokesweets themselves)
    - There are a few name changes (For example Banvine is called Servana in this)
    - Eight new types have been added: Caramel, Mint, Marshmallow (Marsh for short), Peanut, Coconut, Molasses & Honey, & some of the older Pokesweets have been retyped to have one of these 8 types.

  • No no no no no, I'm not adding more types. Mechachu's image is entirely a "what if". Like what if I didn't have a sprite size or color limit and 800 Pokemon to work with. Which I will never have, nor would I ever do anything with it anyways. Can you imagine the diabetes I'd get handling that much sugar??

It's a pretty awesome "what if" though, and I'm so glad I have fans that dedicated especially after everything involving Sweet 2th.

I'm so glad you made a sequel to Sweet version! I love the theme of pokemon being desserts a ton.
A few things I've noticed as glitches though:
-Night Shade and Curse are ice type moves.
-There seems to be no pokemon appearing in the grass on Route 4, between the pumpkin forest and Sugar City
-Rosebud and Espoffin both have transparent spots on their bodies, and gascream's eyes are transparent
-Poison/Hunger doesn't seem to effect enemy pokemon? Or at least it didn't effect the Cupfairy I poisoned.

  • -Poison/Hunger doesn't seem to effect enemy pokemon? Or at least it didn't effect the Cupfairy I poisoned.

This is because Cupfairy has Magic Guard, an ability that prevents damage that isn't from an actual attack move. So no Poison, no Burn, no Curse, and no extra damage from Wrap, Bind, Hail, Sand, etc.

Anyhow, thank you for pointing out that bug. I've fixed it in the following patch I just uploaded:

Oh, whoops, I see. Of course the only one I tried to poison had to be that one.

Unfortunately I found a few more glitches..
-The kid in lemonade port that gives you TM 11 has a Raicicle that only has struggle as a move.
-There doesn't seem to be any pirates in Lemonade port either, the guy in the same house as that^ kid just said "nice job with the pirates!" then gave me a mystic water, but I haven't fought any and the person outside the gym is still talking about them...
-The letter the guy is writing in the bottom right house in lemonade port freezes the game if you check it.
