Well what do you know? I created a Light-type as well! But here's my view of it... Basically I'm making it an invert of the Dark-type, with a few added strengths and weaknesses... So whatever Light is weak against, Dark is strong against, and vice-versa...

Good against: Water, Fighting, Ground, Bug, Ghost, Dark
Bad against: Grass, Psychic, Rock, Dragon, Steel, Light
No effect: none
Pokemon: Ho-oh, Jirachi, Celebi, possibly Staryu/Starmie, Lanturn...
Existing attacks: Morning Sun, Sunny Day, Solarbeam, Light Screen, Flash
Fake Attacks: Sunray, Flashback, Blind Flash, Laser Beam, Flash Attack, Rainbow Beam...
I also created some Pokemon that are that type, including another Pokemon that evolves from Eevee. (Lumineon)
