LMAO. That was priceless. Their management is terrible, and I don't think they did it because the questions would be answered in This Is Us. I think they do it because they believe that they'll potentially lose fans money over what the boys might answer. For example, some questions might spark some unnecessary controversy, such as questions about religion or questions about dating..
"Oh, Zayn is Muslim?"
"Wow, I'm not a fan anymore.. I've been taught to hate that religion."
"Oh, you're going out with Perrie?"

As ridiculous as it sounds, people think like this and become obsessive to the point where they put their words into actions. It's stupid but 1D's fandom is pretty awful, and we all know most fans will do anything to get "noticed".
I just hate how the boys are treated like puppets, but they are part of a billion dollar industry now, just like most other musician and music groups. That's probably why they've stopped doing live shows and all that good stuff. It's pretty saddening, actually. I'm surprised they even let them go through with that whole Jimmy Kimmel Skype scavenger hunt.
