Chapter One: SONIC/POKEMON/MARIO Fall of the Heroes
SONIC
Sonic had been working with the Freedom Fighters for quite some time against the evil
tyranny of Dr. Ivo Robotnik! It was the time between ARCHIVES 1 and ARCHIVES 2,
and with his faithful companions, Princess Sally Acorn, Miles "Tails" Prower, Rotor(Boomer), and Bunny Rabbot, it seemed they won nearly every battle on Mobius. It was during a battle that it first began....
Sonic wiped beads of sweat from his forehead in the blink of an eye. He was at a complete stop on top of Mobius Hill, which once lead to a beautiful view of a green meadow covered in pink and yellow flowers. Now, there stood dried up soil and the ruins of what used to be a fun play-spot. There was a tunnel at the far end of it, going underground. That's where the determined blue-hedgehog had seen the BRAIN-BOT 2 take Tails. He dashed, his feet kicking up tons of dirt as he went into the tunnel. It was no sooner that he was about five yards in that he felt a great shock. Suddenly, he felt sick. Pain started to flow throughout his body, and the hapless hedgehog crumpled to the floor with a groan. Looking at the unmoving form of Sonic, a rather huge shadow billowed over him. There was the sound of laughter coming from the jelly-like belly of fat that belonged to the body of Dr. Robotnik.
POKEMON:
Topisento and his sister, Helecia had been on their training quest for a year now. Topisento held a cold metal to his side. It was a pokeball, containing his first pokemon: Eevee. Although he had found many stones on his journey, he didn't bother to change his most loyal and friendly companion. Eevee slept in the ball, soundly, and didn't sense the bumpiness of Topisento walking. It's bushy tail was wrapped around it's body and the tip of it on it's head. Eevee's nickname, Evan, was strongly hated at first although Topisento knew that Evan had grown to like it in the past year. His inky black hair matched up to his deep, strong black shirt, though he wore dark navy jeans. His chocolate eyes looked at Eevee one more time before he started walking again. Topisento was a fine trainer, with a fear of ghost pokemon. The sight of them made him want to run home to his mother. His mother.....dead. She had died when he was but five years old. Helecia, four at the time, took it deeply, and Topisento had to remove her suicidal thoughts. Helecia had jet black hair but often wore a yellow shirt that was too small for her, but it was made up by her oversized blue pants. She had no fears, and no emotions. Her face was always at a steel blank expression, and she hardly spoke a word. It was three in the morning at the time, but they had to get up this early. The gym leader, April, only allowed challenges between 3 in the morning to 5 in the morning. And heaven knew the crowd that often formed there at 3:10. So, it was off. Topisento and Helecia both had their A-Team with them and were prepared.
"It's going to be a challenge isn't it, Sis?" Topisento told her with a laugh. She didn't even turn to him, and just kept moving.
"Figures." said Topisento under his breath as he walked a bit faster. Their worn-out shoes strongly disagreed with all the rocks and gravel on the way to the gym and when they finally reached it, they found their rivals Hope and Felicia. They were already in a battle with April.
"Looks like we're going to have to wait, eh, Helecia." said Topisento. As usual Helecia didn't respond. Topisento sat down, then noticed one thing: Helecia wasn't with him. "Helicia?" he said uncertainly to himself.
"Helicia!?" he said again, more loudly. Suddenly, he heard his sister say one word: "HELP!" Of course, given the circumstances that Helecia didn't speak, Topisento rushed to where the cry came from. Once outside the gym, he followed the voice until he was behind it. That's where a sudden pain filled his chest. Suddenly, Topisento felt his feet leave the ground, and then a rock out of nowhere came down on his head. All went black, just like his shirt.
MARIO
A peaceful day was upon the Mushroom Kingdom. Princess Peach was being guarded by Mario, Luigi, and two twin Toads: Toadi and Toado. At the end of the day, they knew that Bowser was plotting something sinister to not have attacked in one day. Sure enough, in the horizion was a tiny blot growing bigger and bigger.
"Finally, some action!" Toadi said, obviously excited.
"Indeed. Bowser's Ship is coming." said Toado, studying the blot.
Suddenly, the blot turned blue. Then, it vanished. Mario, Luigi, and the Toad twins looked at each other awkwardly. Then, out of nowhere, a blue vortex opened in the sky, and descending from it was Bowser's ship.
"I wonder what other upgrades he's added." said Toadi, her excitement turning to nervousness.
The ship's bottom opened, unveiling a giant cannon.
"What's that for?!" Toado wondered out loud.
"I don't----" started Toadi, but the canon fired and as quick as light, Toadi was turned into stone.
"TOADI!" Toado cried out, but the canon fired again, this time hitting Luigi.
"MAMA MIA!" Mario cried out. He dodged one canon blast, but the second one hit his hand. Mario looked at his heavy, stone hand with horror, and then ran as fast as he could, bringing the princess along. The citizens of Mushroom Kingdom panicked and Toado just couldn't keep up. As the canon was about to blast him, he felt a sudden pain.
"Crud." was his final word before collapsing to the rich, fertile ground in a crumpled heap.
CHAPTER 2: STONE-GLOVE AND THE MYSTERIOUS MONSTER
Topisento gave a small groan as his eyes fluttered open. He looked around and found himself in an odd surreal place. He sat on a white sand of some sort and the sky, which was purple, had a great red spiral in it. Topisento looked around and the land seemed to be covered with an odd thin mist.
"Where am I?" he said, but nobody was with him. He reached to get Evan, but fear quickly overtook him when he discovered Evan wasn't with him. None of his pokemon were. Meanwhile, in another part of the same planet, Helecia was facing the same predicament. Both of them were missing their pokemon.
Sonic's eyelids shot up, revealing his deep blue-green eyes, and a scream emitted from his mouth. Again, he was also alone. Looking around, Sonic decided to explore a bit. Bits and fragments of pain still rested upon him, but the hedgehog was determined to find out where he was and where Tails was as well.
At the same time, a pale body was found on the floor. A small creature walked up to it, then scurried away. A man with his skull showing through the skin of his face and a snow-white beard approached the fallen lady.
"Alas, she is dead." he said, gravely, after checking her heart-beat. Then, he pulled out a dusty and worn out book. Opening it up and flipping through it, he slowly pronounced a spell. A great bolt of greenish purple lightning shot out of the sky and hit the fallen princess. She gave out a scream, and a great wave of energy shot out from her, where the lightning was encircling her. The energy condensed into one single force and hit the book, which was sent up in a spiral. Then, it opened mysteriously, and pages started tearing themselves out. As the pages got out, they flew away swiftly, and then, the book fell and rested on the sand once more. There were still quite a bit of pages in their, but most of them had been lost. The man coughed, stunned. The lightning shrunk into a spark, then vanished. After once again checking the lady's heart-beat, the man knew she was alive once again. He went up to the book to retrieve it, and slowly picked it up. Looking around, beads of sweat fell from his forehead to the sand. Then, Peach's eyelids started to open. The man fled, and pronounced a transportation spell. Just like that, he was gone. But the book was still there.....
The red-capped plumber woke up slowly, then stretched.
"Mama Mia." he grumbled, as he felt pain lingering within him. Looking down, he saw a small brown thing. It had tan on the collar of it, and a bushy tail, flicking back and forth. Now, Mario had never seen an Eevee so this creature puzzled him. Evan stepped forward and nuzzled him, with a worried look in his eyes. It seemed to want something. Little did Mario know, the something was someone, and the someone was Topisento. Mario looked at Evan awkwardly, then patted it on the head. More pokemon came, a young Starly also Topisento's, a Pachirisu which was Helecia's and a Feraligatr which was also Helecia's. Now, the sight of Feraligatr was threatening and Mario freaked out. The Feraligatr let out a roar, and Mario ran away.
"WA-HA-HA!" he shouted, in a hurry. Fear enveloped him like a blanket. He looked at his stone-hand and wondered if he could use it in his advantage. As the scary monsters caught up, he used the full brunt of the stone on Evan. Evan flew in the air, then landed on the sand with a soft "Plop." He gave a little twitch, then was motionless. Starly, who was Evan's friend, let out a cry of rage and charged Mario with an assault of Peck. Mario gave out a little yelp, but a half-second later, swung his stone-glove and knocked Starly out of the air. Starly gave a weak and feeble cry, lifted it's head up, but then it was over. It's head fell, and it was also motionless.
Pachirisu sent out a Thunder Wave, and Mario felt electricity fill him. He gave out a cry, and fell to the floor. His head was up, his hands and knees on the sand. The pain subsided quickly and as Mario was about to lay a blow to Pachirisu, his fear doubled. Whatever that electric attack had done, he couldn't move. Paralyzed, Mario hoped it would wear off soon. Feraligatr marched up quickly looking at the hapless prey. It opened it's mouth and Mario stared into a deep, dank tunnel. Feraligatr backed up and prepared to use a Hydro-Pump. Mario could only stare in fear.
Chapter 3: A Blue Hedgehog, a Pokemon, and a Pizza......coming soon.
Brief Synopsis of every chapter:
Heroes Fall- Introduces all the main characters excluding the villains as they all loose to an unknown force.
Stone-Glove and the Mysterious Monster- Having all waking up in a strange world but in different places of the same planet, our heroes struggle to find out what's going on. Mario, or Stone-Glove with a Stone-hand, finds some of Topisento and Helecia's pokemon.
A Blue Hedgehog, a Pokemon, and a Pizza- Sonic meets Topisento and they agree to work together towards a common goal. But when they find a pepperonni slice from a pizza, they know that they're not the only ones there.
Peach and the Spellbook- Princess Peach goes through a series of events to find a spellbook, missing some pages. Using some spells, Peach discovers she can use magic. As she journeys to find the missing pages, an unknown person follows her wanting the book for itself.
Reuninon- Topisento finds Helecia with the help of Sonic, and discover she is in a coma. What could've caused this? On their quest for answers, Toado is found unconsciuos, due to deprivation of water.
Mushroom Chaos- Back in Mushroom Kingdom, E-Gadd decides to find out where our heroes are. He uses some old equipment and opens a portal to the Hidden Dimension. But as he goes into the portal, a beast from the other dimension comes out and causes panic.
Mobius the Marvelous- Robotnik has gone missing, but when the Freedom Fighters go to see what happened to Sonic and Tails, they find Tails, who has suffered a brain-drain. As Brain-Bots corner them, they must fight to keep their sanity.
The Cruel Fate of E-Gadd- E-Gadd gives up and looses all hope. That's about the time Bowser, Robotnik, and the Team Terror leader finds him.
Answers- Sonic, Topisento, and Toado finally find out what's going on when they find Robotnik and Sonic forces the answers out of him. But, when Robotnik uses his portable robotizer to robotize Topisento by surprise, Sonic and Toado find themselves facing a harsh threat.
Page Eighteen- Peach finds another page of the spellbook, on her quest, and discovers it's a spell used to turn people to stone, just like Bowser did to Toadi and Luigi. She decides to use it against Bowser, if she finds him. As she continues her quests, she has flashbacks of her childhood.
Topisento Alive- Sonic and Toado find a spell page on the floor and use it on Topisento to cure him. The spell is to cure a person of any plague in any form. Peaches quest leads her to Sonic, Topisento, and Toado for more pages. Helecia is cured and the five team up.
Mushroom Mania- The beast is finally subdued and Toadi is cured.
Mobius Monster- Imprisoned by the Brain-Bots, the Freedom Fighters call the Substitute Freedom Fighters to help. When the Subsitutes get there, they find all the normal Freedom Fighter's have no sanity whatsoever! Can they find a cure and beat the Brain-Bots?
Team Terror- Team Terror has taken over Topisento and Helecia's home region unless legendary poke-warriors, the descendants of Red and Blue, Crimson and Violet can stop them.
Team Terror pt. 2- Continuing Team Terror.
Team Terror pt. 3- Concluding Team Terror
The Final Showdown- Sonic, Topisento, Helecia, Peach, and Toado meet Mario and recover Topisento and Helecia's pokemon. Then, together, they decide to find the villains and put an end to this.
The Final, Final Showdown- Our heroes meet the villains who have made E. Gadd build them the Ultimate Device. Can the heroes hope to win?
Epilogue- Our heroes return to their homes and welcomes are made.
