These are my first poems I have posted.
Disease of mankind
Happiness fades away like sand blown away.
Unhappy with the events at hand.
Why we go on is a mystery that I will never fully understand.
Will you follow me into the distant land?
Far away from the lasting sorrow.
From a world that isn't perfect,
To a world were we can truly dance.
To a rhythm that would make us glance.
Into their world that is full of trance.
It will vanquish from our memory;
that land that will one day collapse.
Into the emptiness of nothing it will land.
Twirled in a empty vortex of sand.
I will wait here until that feeling dies.
Forever in debt to my crimes.
Will you help look for that fabled land,
or will you walk back into the disease of mankind?
Excuses
I live a life of lies!
Maybe it's time to realize,
why I'm still alive,
where so many others have died.
Why I am I still here?
The questions of life,
Not found here.
Venture into the unknown,
things might become more clear.
