Hi, I'm NapoleonEmpoleon and I wrote this and i decided to put it here, i could not think of a clever title so i just decided to do this, i hope you enjoy it, if you don't that's okay too. :D
Summary:
This is a story that takes place in my personal favorite region, Johto, it takes place 5 years after Pokemon Gold. It is about a 16 year old boy and a 16 year old girl, their names are Jason and Julie, they are childhood friends, they have known each other for 10 years, they both are ready for their first Pokemon, so they visit the professor...

CHAPTER 1
"Jason, Jason, Wake up Jason" Said a mysterious voice.
Jason could not make out who's voice it was, he opened his eyes and he saw Julie standing next to him.
"Today we are getting our first Pokemon!" Julie exclaimed with excitement.
"Huh?" mumbled Jason as he was tired.
He then realized what she said, and he shot up.
"We have to hurry!" said Jason.
"Calm down, we get them in an hour" said Julie as she laughed.
"Oh, well I'm going to get ready then" Jason said.
Jason got ready for his first Pokemon and walked to Julie's door.
He went to knock and Julie opened the door.
"It's time, we are getting them now!" shouted Julie.
"I'm so excited, i was waiting for this forever!" Jason exclaimed.
They walked to the professor's lab.
"Hello you two" said the professor.
"Hi, Professor Elm!" said the two.
"Are you two excited?" said Professor Elm.
They both nodded.
"Okay, pick a Pokemon you two"
They looked at the choices.
There was an Oddish, a Vulpix, and a Marill.
"They are all good choices I don't know what to pick!" Jason shouted.
"Well, I'm going to pick Vulpix because she's the cutest!" said Julie.
"Okay, well I'm going to pick Marill!" said Jason.
"You're going to be that way, huh?" asked Julie.
"What do you mean?" replied Jason.
"You know, the guy who picks just the Pokemon that is super effective against yours" said Julie.
"What, No why would I do that?!" asked Jason.
"Well, super effective or not, I will still beat you!" shouted Julie.
A battle initiated and they both threw out their Pokemon.
"Marill use Tackle!" shouted Jason.
"Dodge it and use Scratch, Vulpix!" shouted Julie back.
Vulpix scratched Marill and they both moved backwards.
"Now, use ember Vulpix!" shouted Julie.
Vulpix shot fire at Marill, knocking Marill back.
"Okay, no more playing around, use Water Gun!" shouted Jason.
Marill shot water at Vulpix and Vulpix fainted.
"No fair, you got a critical hit!" said Julie.
"All is fair in love and war" replied Jason.
Elm looked at both of them.
"Amazing, i haven't seen Pokemon trainers like you two in a while" said Elm.
"The last one that I can remember was Gold"
"Ahh, never mind, that's a story for another day"
They both looked at him with a strange look.
"Oh yeah, the Pokedexes!"
He handed them both Pokedexes.
"What is this?" asked Julie.
"These are Pokedexes, they are pretty much Pokemon databases that hold information on Pokemon you have encountered" replied Elm.
"English please" said Jason.
"They are boxes that hold info on Pokemon you've seen" replied Elm.
"Oh, I get it now" said Jason.
"Now you two, I have a task, can you two go meet my friend, Falkner, he is the gym leader of Violet City, and bring this to him" requested Elm handing them a box.
"Yeah sure, we can do that" replied Julie.
"So, there is a map on the Pokemon Center in Cherrygrove City, go there to check it out" said Elm.
"Okay, thank you Professor!" said Jason running out the door.
"Hey, wait for me!" shouted Julie chasing him.
Professor Elm sat down at his computer and laughed.
CHAPTER 2
"I think Cherrygrove is this way" said Jason pointing down route 29.
"I think it is past that water" said Julie pointing at the water.
They looked at each other in anger.
They broke into a fight but then someone walked up to them.
"Hey!" shouted a random voice, "Cherrygrove is down route 29!"
Jason stuck his tongue out at Julie.
She looked at him angrily.
"Thanks, but by the way, who are you" asked Julie.
"Who me" asked the teenage girl.
"I'm Sarah" said the girl.
"Nice to meet you Sarah, I'm Jason, and this is Julie" said Jason.
"Jason and Julie, I will remember that"
"Hope you will" said Jason.
Sarah walked down route 29 and faded in the distance.
"Well, now we know where to go" said Julie.
"Yeah but what's important is that I was right and you were wrong" added Jason.
They walked into route 29 and saw a man lying under a tree.
"Uh, sir, are you okay?" asked Jason.
"RAGHH" shouted the man.
They both looked at each other in shock.
They looked back at the man and he was passed out.
"Is he...Drunk?" asked Julie.
"I think so" replied Jason.
They continued onto Cherrygrove.
"HERRRAAA" shouted something.
A wild Heracross jumped from a tree and attacked Jason.
"Ahh! Stop!" shouted Jason.
He threw out Marill and attacked the Heracross.
Marill scratched Heracross but nothing happened.
"Throw a Pokeball at it!" shouted the drunk man.
He threw a Pokeball at Heracross and caught it.
"Sweet, I got a Heracross!" shouted Jason.
"Cool, but we have to continue on to Cherrygrove" said Julie.
They went onward to Cherrygrove and when they got there they went into the Pokemon Center.
"Okay so it looks like if we go north from here we will get to Violet City" said Julie
Jason walked over to Nurse Joy and healed their Pokemon.
Just then, an explosion happened in the top of the Pokemon Center.
Team Rocket walked into the Pokemon Center.
"Give us all the Pokemon you've got!" said a grunt.
"Yeah, and make it snappy" said the other one.
"You two" said a woman walking in "Give us your Pokemon"
Julie threw out Vulpix and Jason threw out Heracross.
"You want them? come and get them"
"Heracross use Drill Punch!"
"Vulpix use Ember!"
They attacked the Team Rocket Members.
One of the Rockets were knocked out and the other was cut in half.
"Urgh, hey!" shouted the woman.
"This isn't the last of Team Rocket!"
She ran out of the Pokemon Center.
"Well, we did it" said Julie.
"Oh my, thank you so much!" said Nurse Joy running up to them.
"Here, have 10000 Pokedollars, each!" she said.
They look at each other in disbelief
"Are you sure, this is a lot of money" asked Jason.
"That's only a few hours work, the government pays us so much, thank you again"
"No problem, but we have to get to Violet City" said Julie.
They walked out of the Pokemon Center and went to walk straight but got stopped.
"Hey, you guys!" shouted a familiar voice.
It was Sarah, she was running toward them.
"I saw you guys when I was picking berries on Route 29" said Sarah.
"Oh sorry, we are in a hurry" said Jason.
"Well, how about a battle real quick?" she asked them.
"I'll do it!" said Julie.
"Alright, let's go!" shouted Sarah throwing out her Oddish.
"Is that Professor Elm's Oddish?" asked Jason.
"It sure is, i got it right after i picked Berries."
"Vulpix use ember!" shouted Julie instantly KOing the Oddish.
"Well, that was predictable but here is my friend, go Rhyhorn!" shouted Sarah.
"Rhyhorn use horn drill!" she shouted.
"Dodge it and use Iron Tail, Vulpix!" shouted Julie.
She also instantly KOed the Rhyhorn, leaving Sarah in disbelief.
"Wow, you guys are strong!" said Sarah.
"Yeah, we got go, we will catch ya later, k?" said Julie walking north.
They went toward Violet City.
Chapter 2
"Okay, are you sure you know where we are going?"
"Yes, I studied the map for the whole time you guys were battling, we just have to keep walking this way,"
They eventually found a house and walked knocked on the door.
Some man opened the door wearing a green shirt and a white lab coat, he was a very old man.
"Hello, who are you?" asked the old man.
"I'm Jason, and this is my friend, Julie," said Jason.
"Oh, well I'm Mr. Pokemon!" said the Old Man.
"Just, Mr. Pokemon?" asked Julie.
"Yes, I do not speak of my first name for many reasons, but that's another story for another day, here come in, you two must be exhausted!" said Mr. Pokemon.
They walked in and there was an egg on the table.
"What's that?" asked Jason.
"Oh this, this is a Pokemon Egg, it hatches a Pokemon!" replied Mr. Pokemon.
"What Pokemon is in it?" asked Julie.
"I don't know, but whatever it is, it is for my grandson here, Gray!" said Mr. Pokemon.
"Who is his father?" asked Jason.
"Well, he is actually adopted, his real father was killed by many, many Sparrows" replied Mr. Pokemon.
"Well, anyways where are you guys headed?" asked Gray.
"We are on our way to ask something from Falkner for Professor Elm" replied Jason.
"Oh cool, can I come?!?!" asked Gray with excitement.
"But, you do not have a Pokemon" said Mr. Pokemon
"I have the egg, these guys can protect me until it hatches!" said Gray.
"Well, I don't mind" said Julie
"Me neither" added Jason.
"Yay!!!" shouted Gray.
They stayed the night and waited til' morning to go out.
They started walking until they made it to the end of the route.
"Oh finally! we made it" said Jason.
They walked into the city and the Bellsprout Tower was on fire.
Jason threw out Marill and Julie threw out Vulpix.
"Marill, put out the fire!" shouted Jason.
"Vulpix, save anyone in the building" shouted Julie.
Vulpix ran out with a baby boy and his Mother.
"Thank you, for saving me and my son, my name is Delia, and this is Ash" said the Mother.
"No problem, and how did this fire start?" asked Jason.
"Well, all I know is I went here to visit Ash's father, and then, he, he burst into flames, I saw two men wearing black and someone in a white coat, then a wooden beam fell down in front of me, and i was holding Ash very close, that's all I remember" said Delia in tears.
"It's okay, your safe now, we will find out who did this, I promise" said Julie.
Officer Jenny came and picked up Deliah, then the 3 walked into Falkner's Gym.
"Falkner!" shouted all of them.
"Who are you?" asked Falkner
"We are here from Professor Elm, he told us to give you this" said Julie
She handed him the box.
"Oh yes, these are my gym badges, here you three, have one" said Falkner.
They each took a badge and walked out of the gym.
"Wow, we got gym badges without battling him!" said Gray.
"I guess we got lucky, here lets go to the Pokemon Center and call Professor Elm" said Jason.
