[Poetry] My Poetry Series (1 included)

Hi there, poetry readers. I'm Domad.
I actually don't post a lot, but I visit this site often.
I found out about this forum and I decided to try it out... maybe you'd like it.

~Currently I have only one poem, but I may continue with this. I'll see how it goes...~

Poem 1
The Snake

The snake that got me
won't wear off,
it seems so rough
what he does to me.

But it's not his fault
he didn't do anything wrong,
I just waited so long
now I'm turning into an adult.

I know it's too late
so I have to accept it,
even though I didn't mean it.
maybe it's my fate -

Because although I'm trying,
I can't get released,
and the opportunity I may missed.
now I'm stuck and I'm crying.

So I'm caught by the snake
and the mouses try to help,
they understand I'm just a whelp
and I made a mistake.

So the snake that got me
will probably stay,
I hope I'll find a way
that the truth he could see.
