[Other] A small problem I'm having with MrDollSteak's rom base

So I'm trying to work on a FireRed hack that has a higher difficulty, updated stuff and all that using MrDollSteak's DECAP and Attack rom base, but when I'm testing out my trainer battles I saw that every poke I catch are treated as traded pokes. This is going to be a huge problem because they'll disobey a lot making the game way too hard. Is there any fix for this please? If it helps the ID No. of every poke I catch are all 0s and I'm using version 1.5a of the rom base.
