I don't know if this is the right section for this, but is there anyone that can help me with sprite editing in the gen 4 Pokémon games?

I'm trying to edit some sprites in Platinum, mainly the trainer stuff for Dawn. However the formatting for the battle sprites is really throwing me off, is there a possibility that anyone can help?
