    This is the first time I've tried to make a 'serious' team. Usually I just play with whatever I feel like. XD;

    Gengar: Physical Sweeper
    Item(s): Leftovers
    Nature: Mild / Lonely
    Moveset:
    Focus Punch
    Psychic
    Substitute
    Ice Punch / Shadow Ball
    EV: {Mild or Lonely} 252 Atk / 180 Speed / 78 Satk.

    Arcanine: Special Sweeper
Item(s): Choice Specs / Expert Belt
    Nature: Timid/Modest
    Moveset:
    Flamethrower
    Dragon Pulse
    Hidden Power [Grass]
    Overheat
Item Attached: Choice Specs / Expert Belt / Leftovers
    Ability: Intimidate
    EVs: EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk

    Blissey: Special Wall / Aromatherapist
    Item(s): ?
    Nature: Bold
    Moveset:
    Seismic Toss
    Softboiled
    Aromatherapy
    Thunder Wave / Ice Beam
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef

    Skarmory: Physical Wall
    Item(s): ?
    Nature: Impish
    Moveset:
    Drill Peck / Aerial Ace
    Roar / Whirlwind
    Spikes
    Rest / Substitute
    EVs: 252 HP / 64 Atk / 192 Def

    Milotic: Back up Wall
    Item(s): ?
    Nature: Bold
    Moveset:
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Toxic
    Recover
    EVs: 84 HP / 252 Def / 12 Spd / 106 SAtk / 56 SDef

    I'm not sure what I want my last one to be. I was thinking Whiscash, but a lot of people have told me that Swampert is a better idea. I just like Whiscash, so... XD;

  • Why use gengar as a physical sweeper?? O.o

He's a much better special sweeper IMO.

Maybe look into salamence for a physical sweeper?

    Maybe even metagross??

Skarmory should be your lead IMO as well.

lol wtf? Why would you use Gengar as a physical sweeper? Have you even looked at its stats?

    Lets compare:

    65 Base Attack
    130 Base Sp Attack

Hmmm... Gengar's Base Sp Attack is twice as high as its Base Attack. Guess it should be a physical sweeper...that makes PERFECT sense, right?

    NOT!

The only physical attacks Gengar should use is Explosion and Focus Punch, because those are the only physical attacks that will do enough damage to Gengar's counters. Even then, Focus Punch won't be doing enough damage.

A Special sweeping Gengar can still pack physically offensive power with Explosion.

    Gengar @Life Orb
    Hasty Nature
    4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd

    -Shadow Ball
    -Focus Blast
    -Thunderbolt/Hidden Power Fire
    -Explosion

Arcanine is outclassed as Special Sweeper by Heatran. Heatran has many advantages over Arcanine including better Special Attack, better defenses, more resistances, and most importantly IT'S NOT WEAK TO STEALTH ROCK!

    Heatran @Choice Specs/Choice Scarf
    Naive Nature
    4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd

    -Fire Blast
    -Earth Power
    -Hidden Power Ice/Dragon Pulse
    -Explosion

Right now, your team has a major weakness against Infernape, who beats every Pokemon on your team with Close Combat, Fire Blast, or Grass Knot. You need something that can stand up to this monkey.

Vaporeon, Starmie, and Tentacruel are all great Infernape counters. Starmie and Tentacruel get Rapid Spin, while Vaporeon gets Wish. Tentacruel isn't weak against Grass Knot, Vaporeon is too light for it to do much damage, and Starmie is faster.
Either one of these would be better choices than Milotic. Milotic can't learn Wish or Rapid Spin and gets hit hard by Grass Knot.

Blissey, Skarmory, and your NEW Water type should all hold Leftovers. Skarmory could hold Shed Shell if you're afraid of Magnezone. Also, Skarmory needs Roost.

For your sixth Pokemon you really need a physical sweeper. More specifically, you need a physical sweeper that can beat also Dragon Dance Salamence. Try Mamoswine:

    Mamoswine @Life Orb
    Adamant/Jolly Nature
    4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

    -Ice Shard
    -Earthquake
    -Stone Edge
    -Superpower

    In short...

    *Make Gengar a special sweeper
    *Replace Arcanine with Heatran
    *Replace Milotic with Vaporeon/Starmie/Tentacruel
*Give Leftovers to Blissey/Skarmory/New Water type
    *Give Skarmory Roost
    *Use Mamoswine

I know what u mean, Whiscash is EPIC!!!! i use it in the battle tower, but swampert is better (it has higher physical Attack), also if ur looking for a non-legendary team, perhaps use camerupt? its a slow pokemon, but has a (VERY slightly) higher Special Atack than Arcanine, and better defencive stats (besides, arcanine is better as a physical sweeper, not special)

    Camerupt
    Modest nature
    Life Orb/Leftovers

    -rest
    -sleep talk
    -eruption/flamethrower
    -earth power

    (EV's are quesses)
    252 SA
    252 HP
    4 Def

this way Camerupt will survive for ages! he can be very tank, and has a 105 Special Attack

Camerupt sucks in OU. Low Speed + below average defenses + 4x weakness to Water? No thanks. 105 Special Attack is nothing compared to Heatran's 130 Special Attack.

Thank you for the help~ I'm a poke-noob who had only played the games for fun.

Anyway, I'll change my team according to your suggestions, thanks again.
