At the moment, you may not know which step to take next, it's likely benefitial to look over some tutorials. (And skip forward through the silent, as the tutorial maker isn't the best pacer, but gotta appreciate all the time and effort the guy put in since there's basically no other tutorial that are super clean right now.)
You'll have to skip around a lot, however 'essentially', this entire playlist have 'enough information' to build a very decent game.
It'll slowly introduce you to how RMxp operates, slowly you'll learn to do new things.
Take notice of all the pre-made maps that comes with Essentials, these are references, you may look at their events and see how they're structured, thus you may incorporate those same events within your game.
e.g. how to enter a door? how to heal pkmn in center? the pre-made maps have these examples, so new users may look at them to understand how they may build their own.
For your specific question, I'd search for a 'boulder' somewhere on the event map, and see it's function. If you're not that far yet, don't worry, that's what the tutorials are for.
