Pokemon: Battle of the Gods

hey everyone, i have been planning and learning/building the basics of my game, made a few maps, got some awesome, fitting fakemon but i have gotten NO WHERE in comparison to where this game will be. i know everyone is bias to their own game but i can confidently say, this series will be unlike any other. welcome the Pokemon series, 'Pokemon: Battle of the Gods' game 1 'Battle for Mt.Olympus' ill give a brief synopses of the game and hope to get some ppl on board and as excited as i am

our hero(you) just turned 10 today, and as is customary, his pokemon journey begins! but after he gets his pokemon and is headed out on his journey, his mother catches him just as he is leaving. "come quick its your father" they hurry back to their house, where his father is collapsed on the floor, and with his dying words, gives you his most prized possession and then passes away. stricken with grief, our hero decides to not go on his journey and stay to help his mom through this terrible time.. 6 years later, his mother proposes he continue the journey he was so excited for and not to mention how excited Dad was. so against his worry to leave his mom, he decides its time. as our hero is leaving Pallet town, a strange noise starts and gets louder and louder then a flash of light and our hero is knocked unconscious.. was that a Pokemon...and a man i saw in the light??

Pokemon:Battle for Mt.Olympus!

so if this intrigues you, you havnt seen anything yet, with plenty of plot twists and foes to fight, this will not be an easy journey.

i am currently in desperate need of some positions, im fairly decent at making maps and can add pokemon to the Dex no problem, but the scripting is killing me, i need a scripter in a bad way, that can make events, add mega evolution and many other game changing expirences that will make this the best fan game to hit the shelves(net pages) an advanced map editor would be phenomenal but not essential and would love to have someone/few ppl who can create some very awesome and specific pokemon as i have a very particular vision for this game. please Message me, comment or email me(prefer messages here as my email tends to go unchecked for days at a time) [email protected]

With all due respect, this actually much does sound like every other fan-game out there.
What makes it "unlike any other" as you say?

there are some features that will be in this rom that arent in any any other rom, i wont get too specific as i want to keep them from being used in another before i get this one finished

I really hope this takes off as i haven't seen a pokemon game start off this way before. Also playing as a 16 y/o would be a nice change, as most start off as children.

wether i get the development team or not, this game WILL be made and will be as amazing as i envision it, ill do it all myself if need be, it will just take longer than if i have help but i promise you, this will take off and will be well worth the wait :) if u would like ill add u to my friends list and if u dont mind would u be willing to help test it, as i develop it?

the information you have given us has given little context. be careful not to ask for too much help..especially since you're only at the idea stage right now. Do you want to share a little more? Like where is your game set? "a region" isn't specific enough because the physical place of your story can change it completely.

You say maps but you ream region maps or like RPG Maker XP maps.

You're going to have to give us more info for us to be helpful. Don't give away your plot but the other, boring stuff as it is helpful to us.

thank you for pointing this out, i wasnt sure what to disclose as i didnt want to give too much info and have my idea ripped off

it will take place in Kanto(kinda) by that i mean at this stage, in this first game of the series i wont add another region(yet, if in development it seems necessary we will go from there) using Advanced Map(ive found mapping to be easy but tedious, so ill probably map this unless i can find a significant mapper who wants in)

every pokemon will be added along with stats from Sun and Moon(to keep up with the times)

moves, abilities and hidden abilities will all be up to date with Sun and Moon

i plan to work hard with the team and get this into beta within a few months and alpha within 6 months

any specific info i can give without revealing the plot ill be happy to disclose im just not exactly sure what i should disclose, please feel free to message me or post here and ill do what i can to best answer any questions. i hope i answered some for you today
