'It is with great pleasure that I, President Howard Rightford, welcome the Premier of Tieng-Yian to our beautiful city of Castelia, in order to begin discussions over the prospect of the formation of the Tieng-Unova unity project! This would bring our governments together into a single government sharing our resources, and bring our people together as one.'

'It is disappointing that this news has been received on the Premier's birthday. Word has it that he's very upset. In fact, so upset that he's got a declaration of war ready to be handed over to the Unovan government next year. As we have failed to bring them around to our way of thinking through peaceful methods, we will resort to our preferred method... Force.'
Plot
The Supreme Kingdom of Tieng-Yian has concealed her hidden agenda for fifteen long years- World domination. With January 1st, 2012 drawing close, their armies are preparing to march into the technologically advanced state of Unova. These self-same armies are immense, unmatched by Unovan forces, reduced in modern times to anti-terrorist specialized forces. However, the Unovans are blissfully unaware of their impending doom- the doom coming in just over 4 months.
These two powers aren't the only inhabitants of the vast Pokemon world, however- another faction based in Kanto, though small and weak in comparison, will still have a part to play in the silent war- they are the supposed terrorist organisation The Brotherhood of Silence. And it will be a war unimaginable by human minds... As the Supreme Kingdom has a plan...
Before humanity was sentient, Pokemon had developed to the modern stage of their development. They had at least a reasonable amount of intelligence and enough to know that war is not an option for a race's survival. Yet still there were violent individuals who sought dominion over the world... Creatures so vicious, so savage, so merciless that they were locked away in prisons before the advent of humanity- The Primal Beings.
How Tieng-Yian discovered the first of these prisons is unkown, but they entered it and found, in chains, the first Primal Being- the seventh Pokemon created in time- Uriu- and the results were catastrophic. Uriu ravaged the Tiengan countryside in a small region, but the Red Army imprisoned him with "Sacred Chain" technology. They questioned him, and slowly subjugated his mind to their use. His powers were then contained within a small orb, the final product of the "Sacred Chain" project, and his body was destroyed. The remaining six Beings are thought to be scattered across the world. The Red Army immediately began to design the Divine Tank- the ultimate in weaponry.
The Divine Tank
This tank was designed with an energy core supposed to utilize the power of the Orbs obtained from the Primal Beings, with slots for the seven, one of which is already obtained. It is gargantuan, the size of a mountain (and being built in one). Inside, there are functions to keep its engineers and soldiers fed, watered and alive for lifetimes. Fortunately for Unova, it is incomplete in two ways-
1. The actual tank body is only half complete, scheduled for completion by January 1st 2012, in four months.
2. The tank needs a tremendous amount of power, only suppliable by the Seven Primal Orbs, of which one has been found and placed inside the monstrosity.
The Tiengan government is desperately searching for the remaining Six Primal Beings, and should they find them, the war will be over before it begins.
You
You are a brand new trainer, from Kanto, Unova or Tieng-Yian. You go to claim your starter Pokemon from the regional professor, and from there you will begin your journey. But you are not like other trainers... You are different. You are one of the Marked. From birth, your destiny is linked with the Primal Beings who are hibernating. As to how, it is currently unknown. But time will tell. You have no idea of the coming war- for all you know, your life will be ordinary. How wrong you are.
Regions
Tieng-Yian- (Culturally based on Real World China) This nation is powerful, industrious and secretive. Their citizens are loyal and nationalistic, and life in Tiengan territory is very enjoyable. Their land is vast and encompasses species of Pokemon from all other regions. Their Red Army is huge and utilizes a policy of total domination.
Unova-(Culturally Based on real World America) A juggernaut of trade, technology and economy, the Unovans are an excellent people of hard-working, grass-roots ideals and a hard-working force of farmers, builders and factories supports a technologically superior but relatively small army.
Kanto- (Culturally based on the Real World Middle-East) This region was once a seat of tremendous power but has slowly ebbed into a backwater minor faction. Their government is supported by the mysterious Brotherhood of Silence, who are masters of Guerrilla and underhanded warfare.

Gameplay:
This will be a chaptered RP- your first chapter will see the beginning of the adventure in your home-region and the second will see your speedy transition to the Tieng-Yian national borders. Tieng-Yian is so vast and diverse that you can capture next to any Pokemon there. Capture will be done after you RP a battle with a Pokemon- the end result for the capture will be decided in the OOC forum and my decision is final, and will be based on quality, fairness and creativity.
