    Uh... can we use background music from other anime in our projects? I mean, is it allowed?

    If this is the wrong place to post, I'm sorry, but I just can't seem to find the right place.

    • There's nothing strictly against it, but... Be wary though? It's a similar boat to making Pokemon fangames, except the likelihood some random super corporation will notice you using the background track used for one small scene in an episode is astronomically low.

    • One other little detail. If your project turns up on youtube, you run the risk of someday having videos with that music being copyright stricken. It may not affect you, but if someone (e.g. a letsplayer) plays your game, it could mess up their video.
