Article: Pokémon Anime Original Episodes Available now in HD

For the first time, the first season of the Pokémon anime in HD will make its appearance in iTune, Google Play, and Amazon.

Awesome! I hope they do the same for Johto and Hoenn. I don't remember them as a kid, but I'd love to sit back and watch them.

It would be so nice if they offered the original Japanese audio as well, but still! I'm hyped to be able to re-watch the Kanto Arc in full! Although I wonder if they'll charge per episode, or a flat price for a season bundle. My experience with those retailers have not been the best when it comes to digital content.

$1,99 per episode on Google Play and $2.99 per episode on iTunes and Amazon. It says $19.99 for the season, but that may be just for the episodes listed on one page rather than every single episode of the season.

Ignoring the fact that that would be a niche the way 4kids edited the episodes is why they can't offer both audio files.
