This one has lower quality for some reason, will have to look into that.

Would you be willing to share how to add custom music into roms? I was thinking about making my own but need to know what format and how to add it.

Once upon a time two years ago or something, little me thought it was a good idea to make a tutorial on music based on what she knew. She knew nothing.

Fun aside, that tutorial is still in the tutorials section, you can search "GoGo's Mega Huge Sappy Tutorial"
It's not huge or mega or even good, but it covers how to insert basic songs.

I've found the tutorial and am looking it over!!! What're your thoughts? I'm a new hacker and think developing the story and maps/script should come first, then the music. Thoughts?

Well we can take this to VMs, but I think you should practice first before diving into doing a real hack, since doing a real hack as you're learning is no bueno

Thank you, but a new update will be rolling around shortly (which will basically be all regular songs completed)

If you can wait until then, It'd be worth it

umm i need help i patched the emerald 2.0 to my emerald but when i go to play the music it crashes and yes i put the voice sound limit to 12 in settings --> options --> extra and yeah i pt the voice song limit on 12 but when i try to play it on sappy it fails plz help

You should wait for the update because it'll be a stable version that's completely full of all HGSS songs.

Hello is it possible to make the diamond/pearl/platinum's bike theme for heart gold and soul silver. Personally, i found it by far the best bike theme not change it's style just to be able to let it play to hg/ss too. Thanks in advance. Btw new member here and nice to meet you.

Hello, nice to meet you

This isn't a HGSS patch, it's a GBA patch to have HGSS music.
But yes, it's possible.

I applyed this patch on my untouched Pokemon FireRed and now there is no music while batteling against wild Pokemon!
