    • You would have played nuzlocke challenge in any main game. But you would have rarely played nuzlocke challenge in any Mystery Dungeon game. Here is the place to do so.

    [S-HIGHLIGHT]Rules[/S-HIGHLIGHT]

    1# You can use any of Mystery Dungeon games- Red Rescue Team, Blue Rescue Team, Explorers of Sky, Explorers of Time or Explorers of Darkness.
    2# You must answer the test truthfully. No restarting or looking for a guide to help to get starter.
    3# You must accept only the first recruit of any dungeon.
    4# Any non user or partner pokemon dead must be released.
    5# If your starter or partner is dead before you can release them, you must release them as soon as you can.
    6# You can use 2 reviver seeds per dungeon.
    7# The game is over if your parter or starter dies 3 times before you can release them or when all your pokemon dies after you can release them.
    8# The challenge ends when you beat Rayquaza in Mystery Dungeon Red/Blue or When you beat Darkrai in Mystery Dungeon Sky/Time/Darkness.

    • That's kinda impossible since you cannot release yourself AFAIK (at least in DS versions since you stay as main character everytime) so I think rule 5 is useless.
    I wouldn't name this Nuzlocke... since true Nuzlocke simply cannot be done in PMDs... As I said, you cannot release yourself which kills the Nuzlocke feeling...
    Challenge is interesting but as I said, since you cannot release yourself, nor can you "deposit" him/her at the start of your journey and some story dungeons REQUIRE you to go there with your MC and partner.

    By rule 5 I mean you cannot use your starter or partner when you complete the main storyline such as beating Dialga in PMD explorer of Sky/Time/Darkness. I have also made a rule that if Starter/Partner dies 3 times before you complete the main storyline, then it is game over. If it is too hard I will edit the rule to 2 reviver seeds per dungeon.

    You probably did not understand me. I meant that even if you are banned from using your starter after completing the main story, you still cannot have the true essence of Nuzlocke by releasing Pokémon right after it fainted.
    But I'll be glad to see if someone has the courage to do this =)

    Yes we cant get the true essence of a nuzlocke but anybody could try a new challenge that they have never tried before to get some of the essence of a nuzlocke challenge.

    Edit Update#1

    Cleared the personality test to find out I am a Shinx.
    Took Turtwig as my partner.Named him Earthy.
    Named myself StormyCat.
    Easily beat Zubat and Koffing at beach cave.
    Named My team EarthyCat [Earthy + Stormy Cat]
    Got the Spoink's pearl in Drenched Buff.
    Traveled the town with Bidoof.
    Met Azurill and Marill.
    Came to know that Drowzee is Wanted.
    Cleared Mt. Bristle and beated Drowzee with the help of a X-eye seed.
    Did some filler days until Ch-4
    Completed Sentry Duty.
    Did some filler days again until Ch-5.
    Got the access to recruit team members.
    Saved.

    Recruited Shelltal the Shellos in Drenched Bluff.
    Recruited Spinner the Spinarak in Mt. Bristle.
    Trained a lot until me and my partner were level 15.
    Reached Waterfall Cave.
    After some talking with my parnter, we entered Waterfall Cave.
    Recruited Sludge the Grimer in Waterfall cave.
    Was told we are going on an expedition soon.

    • 1 Question? What about eggs and that stuff. After Jobs they may ask to be recruited, Can we recruit them? if so what are the conditons?

    • You can recruit them if you have not recruited any pokemon from the dungeon where the job was from and you can get the first pokemon or egg in Spinda's Cafe

    Trained until me and my partner was lvl 18.
    Entered Apple Wood.
    Recruited Skippy the Hoppip in Apple Wood.
    Cant find any perfect apple so we was not given meal.(how cruel)
    Was named to get in the expedition.
    We started the expedition.
    Did some training in Side Path.
    Cleared Craggy Coast.
    Did some training in Rock Path.
    Cleared Mt. Horn.
    Cleared Foggy Forest.
    Got to the top of Steam Cave to battle Groudon.
    Defeated Groudon with one sleep seed, some energy balls from Turtwig and Bites from Shinx.
