Hello guys, i'm kinda new to this so i'm sorry if i ask a dumb question. My brother asked me to find a way to increase the shiny odds to something over 1/256. I know it's not possible by just hex editing since we're limited to one byte (FF) but i wanted to know if it was possible through ASM routines, like something that could change the shiny formula or anything that could increase the rates ?
I tried to look in the forum but i'm not gonna lie since i dont know that much stuff about ASM and that my knowledge is limited to the few beginners tutorials i've read during my researches.
So If someone have something to recommend me (routine, romhack etc...) or any explanation about if its possible (or not) i'll take it, thank you.
