Probably not great teams since there are no stat or status altering moves, but I never had the patience for that and these are the teams that always had me think "if this stuff were real, THESE are the awesome pokemon I'd walk around with". Thunder Wave becomes basically a waste of a slot when you're fighting the E4 dozens of times and you can take them all out in one hit. Plus I never had a large pool of opponents. It was me and my brother for a while, and then he stopped.
